- Orotina - Explore the Amazing Cloud Forests of Costa Rica on this Monteverde Tour. Your tour starts in the morning when you get picked up from your San Jose area hotel and you will then travel towards the Northern Part of the country on a very scenic drive, with great views of beautiful mountain ranges, local towns, farms, and the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. On the way to Monteverde, you will also enjoy multiple stops to see most of Costa Rica. Stop briefly at the largest fruit stand of the country, where you will learn about a huge variety of tropical fruits.
- Puerto Caldera - Continue your tour with a stop at Caldera, where you will visit a place where many white-faced capuchin monkeys are normally observed in the wild at a remarkably close range.
- Coyolar - Take great photos of amazing landscapes on your way up to the Monteverde Mountains, a couple of stops will be made in look-out points where beautiful views of the Nicoya Gulf and the Monteverde Mountain Range can be seen on clear days.

Selvatura - Once in Monteverde, you will savor a delicious lunch near the town of Santa Elena and then you will proceed to do the amazing hanging bridges tour in the Cloud Forest at Selvatura Park, where you will hike with your guide for about 2-3 hours admiring the beauties of this rare Eco-system and searching for the local wildlife, such as monkeys, emerald toucans, coatimundis, and the rare resplendent quetzal, the most beautiful bird of Costa Rica. This hike is approx. 3 kilometers long (1.9 miles) and it’s done mostly on flat terrain with a few mild climbs.
Late in the afternoon, we will take you back to your San Jose hotel or we can take you to your centrally located hotel in Monteverde if you are planning to stay in that area after the tour.

Hanging bridges tour - Very good trip to the hanging bridges. Tour guide Alex was very friendly and helpful along thw way teaching us some things about his country and a bit of Spanish. The included lunch was good. The guide provided for the hanging bridged was also very knowledgeable and made our time there fun (Steven). Only downside to the day is the long travel time however there are some stops along the way to make it more comfortable and I would say that the day is worth it.

A great full day of experiences. - The whole trip was great. It was a long day but very interesting. The driver and guide -Alex, was very good, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful all day. We stopped off to see monkeys in there own environment, stopped off to look at lovely views and an amazing lunch, with lots of choices.The guide Carlos at the montverde bridges was also great, he was very knowledgeable and helpful too.
A great trip all round. 🙂

Fulfilled day! - We had a wonderful time with Kenneth and Louis. They were very pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating. Kenneth shared a lot of information with us and they kept us laughing and entertained. We highly recommend this tour. You won't be disappointed. There was so much we did in one day!!

Fun adventure in the cloud forest! - What a fun day! The tour was accurately described as outlined in the description. It was a long, but worthwhile trip. Kenneth and Luis took great care of everyone on the tour. Just as an example of Kenneth’s above and beyond service, at the end of the tour when people were dropped back off at their respective hotels, he would turn on his phone flashlight to make sure they didn’t leave anything behind in the van. Now that was an unexpected attention to detail. He was very knowledgeable and patiently answered everyone’s questions. He took the best photos during the trip using his monoculars for iPhones and airdropped them to everyone on the tour. Shout out to Luis for his great driving skills and dedication to safe driving. Thanks “chicos” for a great day!

Great day at Monteverde hanging bridges - Fernando is a great tour guide. He explains everything very clearly and makes it fun & easy to understand. After this trip, I know a lot more about Costa Rica, its flora & fauna. The monteverde hanging bridge tour is worth going. It is a great place to experience Costa Rica's biodiversity.

Trip to Monte Verde park - Great excursion! Fernando, our guide, provided interesting facts on Costa Rica which entertained us on the drive up. He had everything planned so everything went smoothly. Choice of restaurants for rest stops was excellent. Definitely will recommend to our friends.
