Highlights
  • Museu del comic - A national museum dedicated exclusively to commemorating and disseminating the space of Comics and illustration in the maximum historical extension of both media.

The Museum’s permanent exhibition proposes a tour that ranges from the first publication positioned entirely in the field of graphic narrative (The Monigoty, 1897) to the headlines or characters from the most recent era. Without forgetting the first revelations of the medium in children’s and satirical magazines that date back to the middle of the 19th century.

A discourse that began around 1865, in the first manifestations of the medium, describing its graphic and conceptual evolution, its definitive expansion in the middle of the 20th century, with a turning point in the 80s of the last century, when the Cartoon comes of age and decidedly enters the adult target.
