A Beautiful Island with a bad organized service - The beach is beautiful! The food was ok and you will not be hungry. Drinks are served generously, if you like to drink. The organization is. It the greatest. A lot of time is wasted waiting to get on the speed boat and from the speed boat onto the catamaran. People are packed on the catamaran like sardines. The music is the worst!!! It is being blasted into your ears all the time. You can’t hear anything. The communication is awful. Nobody speaks English and they don’t inform you about anything. Getting out from the catamaran onto a speed boat to get to the beach took an hour of wait! We were looking at the beach and not able to get there🥺 You spend 2 hours on the beach total. Going back, the same scenario. I was happy that a couple from Mexico was figuring staff out for us to find the right boat and get on it on time. Big wish: limit that crazy music! Let people enjoy the nature. Use less plastic, too. Saona is really beautiful

DO NOT GO TO SANTO DOMINGO unless you like to be on high alert 24/7 - I would strongly advice against going to Santo Domingo unless you want to be on high alert of being scammed 24/7 even ubers will scam you, show you a rate show up and tell you they will cancel the uber but need cash if you want the ride or all the restaurants if you appear American they try to add additianal cost, gave us horrible service then demanded a tip. I will not return to Santo Domingo.

Just horrible - To begin, our pick up was from Santo Domingo @7am where we boarded the included transportation. On our way we stopped several times to pick up additional adventurers. Little did we know it would take us 3 hrs to even reach Bayahibe. It was a very loooong bus ride. We didn't get there until mins after 10 am. Then we were greeted by our 'tour guide' who color coded us with Dominican GPS ( piece of string) lol. What was not funny though is the length of wait time we had to endure to get a boat to take us out. Everytime he returned, he said 10mins which practically turned into 2hrs. To catch this tour at 7, we barely ate nothing and its now after 12 and our energy level is going down and to add to it, the frustration of waiting. We finally got a boat and off to the blue hole we go which was kinda kool. Your in the middle of the ocean and its waist deep there. We spent approx 30mins and off we go to the island. It was bare... I'd say at this point we were so tired we didn't get to enjoy. The food was horrible. Very bland. I didnt eat. So I'm hungry and all I can think off is" get me off this island". After sometime, we loaded up again went back on the speed boat out to the catermaran to head back in shore.... did I not say what transpired in getting onto the catermaran. Thats something else. Fast forward, we got back to Bayahibe at about 6 and then unto our transportation to Santo Domingo.... didn't get back until approximately 9. Feeling extreemly exhausted, hungry, and most of all disappointed 😞.

If you’re late you’ll miss out on the experience and the money - The booking was canceled and the refund was canceled the driver sent me a message saying that we had to be there at 630 when the online departure time was 7. We get to the location at 635 and the driver left saying he messaged us telling us to be there at 630 because he had to make other stops. We sent him a message right away asking for the next location so we could Uber to him and he stopped responding
