- Valle De La Luna - The tour will start from the city center of San Pedro de Atacama, passing through the Cordillera del Sal in the Atacama Desert, the driest place in the world, towards one of the most picturesque spots: the Valley of the Moon. The names already give a clear sign of the landscape, where rock formations dominated by erosion, areas covered in salt, the Duna Mayor and views that make you feel as if you were on another planet.
We will cross the valley, visiting the well-known rock formations: the Três Marias, the Cano and the Amphitheater. To finish the tour, we will enjoy the sunset from the Licarantay viewpoint, where you will be able to observe how the desert changes color, with huge volcanoes on the horizon, which offer a spectacle that will leave you speechless.

Our journey takes us westward from San Pedro de Atacama, making our first stop at Yerbas Buenas - a site of significant historical relevance as it is home to one of the most extensive collection of petroglyphs in this region. This location was a transit point for the native caravans journeying from the northeastern part of Argentina and the high Bolivian plateau, making their way to the Pacific Ocean. We will see a diverse range of etchings and drawings on stone featuring animals like llamas, camelids, birds, monkeys, and dogs. As we traverse through Matancilla, we will arrive at the Rainbow Valley. It has earned its name due to the varied hues on the mountain caused by mineral deposits. The spectrum of earthy, red, beige, green, white, and yellow shades depict the various concentrations of salts, clays, and minerals. We will explore on foot, immersing ourselves in the unique rock formations and the unparalleled scenery.
