Excellent - A highly recommended experience, they came to pick us up at the hostel at the agreed time, the guide was always explaining and resolving doubts and the beautiful landscapes were 100% recommended.

We have to come back in winter - Although the activity at the time I did it left me a little disappointed, the excellent rating goes to the excellent guide we had. His name is Valentín and he handles a large amount of geological, archaeological, biological and even miscellaneous data. Many times my head exploded with data on mountain formations, highly recommended, look for that guide, fun and learning guaranteed.

Wonderful trip but room for improvements - We had a lovely trip and I do think this is the best one you can do. Lot’s of cool things to see and experience, like actually swimming in the water which a lot of other tours don’t do. Our guide was really friendly and knowledgeable. Improvements, pick up time, we were told be ready for between 4-5 am, we were there at 4 but didn’t get picked up until 5 and thought maybe we were the last but we were only the second to be picked up. A more accurate pick up time would have been better, more sleep to not be so tired on the trip. Secondly, drop off was just to a central place, luckily we weren’t staying far and could walk. And thirdly, park entrances were supposed to be included as it says in description but we were made to pay and now trying to request a partial refund.

Book somewhere else - molantur is an agency that only arranges trips. They don't really give much information about the tours. We booked several tours with them and the Valle de la Luna was really beautiful. The landscape is amazing but they sent us with Feel Atacama (another agency). Feel Atacama organized the transport well and told us what to take with us but the guide was a disaster. He hardly said anything and the Valle de la Luna would be very interesting from a geological point of view. Well, that was a shame. Also, the whole tour was in Portuguese and bad English. About the other tours: The first tour started a bit late. There was no communication or communication too late about when we would be picked up. The guide (Duncan) was great though! He talked a lot and always responded to our questions. We were also the only ones there which was really nice because we really enjoyed it. The pick-up worked well on the second tour and they were there on time. The driver drove very fast at the beginning and this made some passengers nervous. Duncan, our guide, was very good, just like last time. In general, communication at the agency is sometimes very poor. They don't communicate, tell you too late where things are and what you should take with you, and if you don't keep asking, nothing happens. If you only rated the places, this rating would have been better, but since you should rate the agency here, we weren't satisfied.
