Great Tour! Learned so much! - My husband and I were happily surprised to find out we had a private tour with Reuben. We saw a whole part of the island we had yet to see. We really enjoyed the Museum of Industry and the beautiful murals in San Nicolaas. This was our second tour we took with Wix Tours and Reuben. We are extremely pleased with the company.

Just phenominal - We had Ruben for our San Nicolaas: Island Tour, History and Baby Beach, and I would recommend him to anyone. He was just fabulous. He was punctual, personable and most of all, very knowledgeable about the island. We were a bit skeptical at the start of the tour because it was just my wife and I. Well, that turned out to be a major benefit. Ruben took the time to give us all the details of San Nicolaas and the other towns along the way. To touch it off, we forgot a towel in his van and as I was heading out of the resort for my morning walk the following, there was Ruben pulling up with the towel. We can't wait for our next tour with him. Excellent

Best Aruba Tour - One of the best tours we’ve had from Viator (Wix Tours). We were the only people on the tour so we got personalized attention. Our guide Marcel picked us up at our hotel and the next 4 hours were educational and enjoyable. We learned more about Aruba - its history, its people, its economy, its architecture and its culture - than we learned on any of our previous trips to Aruba. Highlights of the tour were: 1) San Nicolas with its murals; 2) the museum at the water tower with industrial history highlighting gold, aloe, phosphate, oil, and tourism periods; 3) the Zeerover Restaurant in Savaneta serving seafood right out of the ocean 4) the gun emplacement at Colorado Point (the most southern part of Aruba;) 5) the Balashi Gold Mill Ruins; 6) beaches (Baby Beach, Wind Surf Beach, Pet Cemetery, and Mangel Halto Beach surrounded by mangroves); and 7) the impressive closed Valero Oil Refinery.

Aruba is more than ‘One Happy Island’! - Each year we try to take different tours to increase our knowledge of the island and enjoy a variety of experiences in Aruba. This year, we were lucky enough to have Rubin share his history of the island with us on a 5 hour tour that whisked by so quickly! As a local, Rubin has a rich and diverse history that he shared and a great love for Aruba that was apparent in his tour. The highlights were many, and for a water lover, it’s hard to beat Baby Beach!! You won’t be disappointed and Rubin will leave no stone unturned!

Incredible experience and incredible value! - What an amazing trip! We got picked up outside our hotel by our guide Ruben, everything was perfect and I really can't recommend this enough. Ruben was fantastic, he has amazing knowledge of the island and it was fascinating to hear about the history of Aruba, it gave us a much different perspective and an even greater appreciation for the island. So many people are steered towards the other big name tour operators and we are so glad that we found Wix Tours and chose to go with them instead. It was just me and my partner, it was a real personal service. Our only wish was that we didn't do the trip earlier in our holiday as we saw so much that we'd love to go back to and to try out - our next trip to Aruba will be even better and before we saw all these new places, we didn't think that was even possible as prior to this experience, we absolutely loved everything about Aruba and our holiday so far to that point. It was really interesting to be driven around the island and to see places that we didn't know existed, and to see what areas are like away from the typical tourist places - we were driven around in what I would call a luxury vehicle, we had a lot of space to ourselves and it was extremely comfortable, it was just perfect. The Industrial Museum was fascinating and they were extremely welcoming towards us, and they really appreciated us visiting them. It gave a fascinating history to the island and it was interesting to see how the island has developed throughout its history. Baby beach was incredible, we loved going snorkeling there and saw some amazing sea life. During our drive we also saw a few other spots that would be incredible to swim in and go snorkeling, places that we had never been recommended by anyone, we came across some great new discoveries. We finished the trip by having a lovely meal at a traditional local restaurant - at the end of it I went to ask for the bill and I couldn't believe that the meal was actually included in with the price of the trip! When you consider that it costs a good $80+ for a return taxi ride to Baby Beach from our hotel alone, to think of everything we experienced for $65 each it was a complete no brainer! The trip is incredible value and it was an amazing experience, we couldn't be any more thankful to Ruben for the experience he gave us, and the trip has made us even more determined to return back to Aruba for our next holiday. My advice to anyone who wants a great and unique experience of Aruba is to do this tour, and to do it early on in your holiday so you can take more advantage of what you come across. To Ruben and anyone else at Wix Tours - thank you!

GREAT DAY BOOK IT NOW! - Well I was the only one on the tour so Ruben came to get me in a nice Town Car and drove me around all day. He was full of facts and history ans showed many interesting things slong our route. Totally flexable with what to do and see if you have done your homework and have some ideas he's open to it . I also want to add that I do have some walking problems and he did accommodate me with those as well .took me to the museum in San Nichlos -very interesting,we went to Baby Beach and I had to swim for about an hour and then we had a nice lunch at Kaylins.?sp? I can smell the curry when I came through the door YUM but that's not what we have for lunch so don't let that scare you chicken wrap and french fries for lunch wiyh her secret hot sauce. It was a wonderful trip and I recommended anyone ask for Ruben the sharp dresser....

Complete your Aruba experience: see parts of the tour not covered by other tours! - This was my second time to Aruba, and before this tour I took a "highlights of aruba" guided tour and a 9 hour ATV tour. So I wasn't sure how much more I'd see on this tour. I was SO glad I booked it! There was a lot more I saw on this tour which the other tours did not cover. I enjoyed seeing the spanish lagoon, walking around downtown San Nicolaas and viewing the murals, taking a guided tour of the Aruba history museum, a visit to baby beach (which is my favorite beach in aruba), getting views and history of the oil refinery area (seeing parts of the area and getting history which the other tours did not cover such as the original wall around the area, the road to the hospital, the fact that baby beach was exclusive to the oil refinery residents and even where the houses were built). The carnavale museum was great to see as wow, you get to see the costumes up close and they will even take pictures of you. My favorite was the dragon. Ruben was fantastic host. He showed me so much more, and told so many personal stories. I truly feel that my Aruba experience is complete with this tour, and I'm so glad I took the tour. I highly recommend this tour to everyone. If you think you've seen all of Aruba, I can assure you this tour covers aspects and parts which the other tours do not. Highly recommend.
