Perfect half day trip! - We took a private half day tour to the pyramids outside of CDMX. We had Gerardo as our tour guide who was incredibly knowledgeable — and charming, to boot. We loved the tour and had a blast with he and Paco, our driver. They kept us informed and laughing the entire time!

Great private tour with Ligia! - Ligia was a great tour guide! We had a super smooth experience, took lots of photos, walked between the pyramids and bought some souvenirs!

Daniel - the best guide if you visit Teotihuacan - If ever you visit Teotihuacan take Daniel as your guide. He usually waits patiently at the entrance (entrance no 1). You can spot him when you look for a nice, elegant Mexican gentleman wearing a black tailored jacket. He not only stands out by his knowledge and kindness, but also by his elegant attire. Daniel is a truly brilliant guide. Knowledgeable, eloquent and absolutely fluent in English. He will make your visit to Teotihuacan a memorable event. He is very good in teaching you about the history of the place, but also in telling you stories about the mundane life of the then inhabitants. He let us chose between the long tour or a short one and completely catered to our needs. When I was done after the short tour, he went on doing the long one with my husband. I highly recommend him! Teotihuacan Sunrise Tour (English) - We really enjoyed the tour! Our guide Gerson was welcoming, funny, and informative, and the trip was very well organized. Transportation was comfortable and convenient and we had plenty of time to take in the sights.

Educational and well worth booking - The entire activity was very fun and educational. Going with tour leaders like this enhances the trip even more! Alexa was our guide and she was incredible!

Teotihuacan - Great! Glad I did it. Felt we were in good hands with Sergio and Alejandro. I would have preferred to skip the morning raunchy tequila tasting/gift shop, but I actually learned a lot during the agave demonstration. Gracias!

Well run trip to Teotihuacan - recommended - Teotihuacan is an amazing place, well worth visiting. The trip organisation by Amigo Tours was really great, ran very smoothly. The tour leader - Lili - and the driver - Ricardo - did a good job, but we took the option where we just looked round by ourselves, so I can't comment on the guiding at the site itself. Like someone else, I would have preferred to skip the tequila / gift shop experience, which was a bit naff. But would recommend this tour outfit nonetheless!

Terrible Tour - We booked a turn around tour to Teotihuacan. We go to the sight and come back. Instead, we were lumped together with a group that stayed an extra two hours at a store selling local crafts. We booked the other tour specifically to avoid this market. We were not told this until we were already on the bus and on our way. We were stuck there until the bus left. I will never use Viator again. You shouldn’t either.

Wrong title to the tour - It was NOT on my own. There was a terrible guide and we had to follow her including to a store of tequila and stones. Do NOT book this tour.

Don’t book through Viator - Don’t book Viator ! Customer service is terrible. They contract local tour guide and increase the price. Look for tour guides there at the pyramids they are genuine and really knowledgeable. Anywhere but Viator. Uber is also easily accessible and cheap if you’re worried about transportation.
