Highlights
- San Juan - To begin our amazing adventure our guide will personally pick up at the travelers accommodation in the metro area. Pickups can be hotels, resorts, residences or airbnbs anywhere in San Juan, Carolina, Loiza, Canovanas, Luquillo, Rio Grande or Fajardo. The day before the excursion, the tour guide will be communicating with the travelers for exact pick up time and other details. This schedule goes from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The earlier we start the better, to avoid bigger tour groups that arrive from other companies.

The final halt will allow you to savor authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, close to one of the most picture-perfect beaches on the island.

Best jungle experience - Andres was an incredible guide. He ensured we got there early and beat the crowds. He was very knowledgeable on the history of the forest and had amazing stories to share. He was very considerate and ensured to guide everyone safely while also providing a fun and exciting environment. Highly recommend this tour!

Great Rainforest Hike with Adriana! - My wife Amy and I had such an awesome, unforgettable experience. Adriana was such a stellar tour guide! She picked us up right at the port and was patient with us as we figured out what time we'd be off the cruise ship. She drove us safely to the rainforest entrance and we had great conversation along the way.
At the rainforest, she was greeted/hugged by probably a dozen other tour guides, who were all excited to see her - which confirmed our thought that she was (is) good people. She was gracious enough to carry my phone for a lot of the tour to take pictures of my wife and I as we navigated through small rock formations and took a jump into the river.
She took the time to talk about the fauna, the history of some of Puerto Rico and her life experiences. It was great.
We ended up eating at a local spot for lunch when we finished, which was quite tasty. She had us safely back to port where we said our goodbyes. We highly recommend Adriana!

Thank you!! - I think this was the best tour ever- right there next to a tour of the Egyptian Pyramids. Our guide Brian, is awesome.real human understanding that understood taking a second to feel your surrounding of this magical froggy, shameplant, face painting fairy forrest of adventure and beauty is important. Thank you Brian! Thank you to the owners of the area in which we parked and felt welcomed. The fact that after 45 years you are still sharing the beauty with welcoming kindness is amazing! This tour is well worth the money for its ease and beauty but also the guides welcoming, informative and humanitarianism. Thank you! .

Incredible experience! - Andres was incredible. Super friendly and knowledgeable. I was a little nervous but he reassured me and helped me navigate through the trail. He took us to his favorite lunch spot after and sat with us like he was family. I highly recommend, 10/10

Extraordinary experience - An experience beyond what we expected thanks to Brian, our guide, whose expertise on everything from rainforest plants to Puerto Rican history was second to none. The forest and the river were amazing to explore; Brian helped us understand and get to know the plants and the trees, plus he did a sweet backflip off the jumping cliff. We were glad that we opted for the slightly more expensive option of a small group (4 people) tour because it felt more like being a guest than a customer of a tour group, and we likely leaned far more about El Yunque than we otherwise would have.

Amazing day with family - We had an incredible time hiking in the rainforest. Adriana our tour guide was incredible. She was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and encouraged my children while they jumped from the rocks. She had a private tour and she made it such a special day for my family. She took pictures for us capturing the amazing day we had!

WOW, AMAZING - This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! Mitchell, our tour guide was so helpful and had so much knowledge of the rainforest. I was nervous because I wasn’t sure what to bring but all you need is a swimsuit under a pair of clothes you don’t mind her getting muddy, a towel, and a clean change for afterwards. Mitchell brought us waters and had a waterproof backpack for anything we couldn’t part with but he took pictures for us and air dropped them. The difficulty of the trip wasn’t bad (we are both in our 20’s but there were older couples with us that made it just fine). Throughout the tour Mitchell constantly explained how to do things safely while explaining the details of the rainforest. He went above and beyond for us throughout the entire trip. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

excellent experience - The whole experience was great! The service that includes the transfer first saves a lot of trouble in the middle. Secondly, the tour guide Andres is very kind, helping to carry water, taking photos and taking care of everyone in the group. He is the best guide! And because it is a small group, there is no feeling of being pushed by chasing others. It's safer and more experiential (perfect for those with weak stamina). Overall it is a great experience and worth recommending!

Unprofessional & disappointing. - We booked this experience for 2 and the shuttle never picked us up. We called the phone number 4 times and no one ever picked up. We also tried texting and emailing their customer service and waited for 2 hours until we called Viator customer services and canceled. 3 hours after the scheduled pick up time, I received and email saying the shuttle had broken down and we were to receive our money back.

Do not recommend - The tour started off on the wrong foot, the tour guide Adriana literally only catered to the one other person on our group she told us we couldn’t sit in the front because she had someone coming once on the road she only conversed with the solo tourist, my friends and I were never included in the conversation, when we got to the point of the tour to stop at the beach she basically said we couldn’t because we would be there for hours due to the crowd she never asked our preference since it was part of the service we purchased she became very combative and defensive when we advised her of our concerns she kept stopping on the side of the rd yelling at us like we were her children when we were trying to let her know our reason for bringing up our concerns she said she was the one driving and in charge she began to drive recklessly down the mountain I was scared for my life i would not recommend that was the worst experience ever… and she said we could leave a review if we wanted.
