The excursion commences at 9am, with a pick up from your accommodation. It takes roughly 1.5 hours to reach Borovets. Upon arrival, you’re free to select from diverse activities based on your preference: strolling through the resort, ski-dooing, having ski/snowboard lessons, visiting the former royal residence, or taking the cable car up one of the mountain’s highest peaks.
Following this, we will head over to Samokov town for a traditional Bulgarian 3-course lunch. The menu can be customized to be chicken, pork, fish, or vegetarian based.
Lastly, post-lunch, the guide escorts you to the regional museum to familiarize you with the local history and renowned art school.
The scheduled return to Sofia is about 6pm.
