Charming and informative - This is a personalized class and tour. You go to the market at leisurely pace to soak in all the culture. Then you go to his house and are able to cook while you learn and really get a sense of what family life is like in Salvador

Wonderful, welcoming experience - I felt like an extended member of the family after my unique tour of the market and cooking along side Ms. Angelica. Knowledgeable and welcoming host and guide. I learned a great deal about Bahia history, local culture and foods. The market was just quiet enough to explore without rushing as we picked up a few goodies to take to the second part of the day. Fresh caipirinhas and fish moqueqa were on the menu that we created in the kitchen. I had a great time visiting with my hosts as we enjoyed our hard work. Door to door, very professional service.
