Full Day Isimangaliso Wetlands Game - African Sun Safaris - TERRIBLE - This was the worst trip I have ever done. African Sun Safaris did not deliver. We were a group of 4, paying $1200 AUD for the day trip. We started off at 6am for the Full Day Isimangaliso Wetlands Game Drive well our guide and driver had never been there and so we went the wrong way and got lost driving for over 41/2 hours to get there instead of 3 hrs cramped up with 4 other people and the guide and driver 10 in total in a small van. When we did get to a gate park it took another 20 mins to pay. We drove around for another 60 minutes in the park and did not see 1 animal only stopping for a 5 min toilet break. We then had to leave the park and drive for another hour to the River cruise. Again we went the wrong way and had to go back more time sitting squashed up in a van. Finally got to the cruise boat which was good and only reason it was good, it was run by someone else and we were able to move around. During this cruise we learnt that we should of entered the park at the gate at the opposite end to the cruise dock where we probably would of seen animals as you could often see them from the boat. This was a lovely little township with restaurants. No time for any lunch as by the time the cruise finished, we then had to drive another 3 hrs back to Durban all squashed up again. An absolute rip off $300 AUD per person. I asked for a partial refund as they did not provide what they advertised and we just drove around in a van for 10+ hrs mostly lost - but no!!! DO NOT BOOK with African Sun Safaris it is an absolute waist of money.
