An Unforgettable Experience. - Let me share my thoughts of my 5 day private hike that I had with Ahmed in November 2023. I have visited Egypt 3 times now and this was the first time that I made the decision to do some hiking in the Sinai region. After multiple searches online I came across Ahmed via Trip Advisor and decided to make contact for a couple of reasons, from other reviews and reading his website. From the first contact I had via WhatsApp (Don’t worry if he doesn’t get back to you right away, he is most likely out of mobile/cell range.), I was impressed how engaging and helpful Ahmed was with planning and listening to what I wanted and giving his advice. Skip forward a few months to when I finally met Ahmed in person, I was greeted warmly, giving me the sense that my journey was going to be great and it was! Ahmed is an absolute gentleman, his knowledge and story telling of the region is so engaging and interesting, learning about the environment and history was excellent The organisation of the hike and this is also a shout out to his team (apologies, I forget the name of the gentleman with the camel and the camel) was perfection. Each night and day everything was prepared when arriving at the camp site, during the day and departing in the morning for the next leg of the journey. I will end with this, my hike and time with Ahmed and his team was simply unforgettable and truly memorable, the scenery was amazing with so many moments of wow, that puts a massive smile on your face. There is so much more I could say, like the sensational food and the conversations we had but It is my hope that if you are reading this, you make the decision and book with Ahmed and experience a truly unforgettable time. Unique hiking on Mount Sinai with Ahmed - Ahmed is the best!! He has almost 15 years experience in hiking and guiding and he knows so much about the history and habitat of Mount Sinai, including herbs, plants and animals. He can tell you about the ancient healing powers of plants as well as the culture of the tribes living in this wonderful environment. He also takes amazing pictures!! What a great day and precious experience. We are very grateful 🙏

Everyone should hike with Ahmed - Ahmed was an amazing guide for our three day hike - he has so much knowledge about the area and plants growing along the route, looks after everyone in the group and is full of enthusiasm! He is also an excellent storyteller and genuinely kind person that really made our hike unforgettable. I cannot recommend going on the hike with Ahmed enough - from the gardens we stayed in, the hidden swimming spots and delicious meals he made it was a 10/10 trip!

Amazing experience! Ahmed is a great person, full of life and a fantastic guide - would highly recommend! - Hiking with Ahmed was a unique experience and the best trip I have had whilst in Egypt. Ahmed was an incredible guide, he is extremely knowledgeable about the Sinai and stops regularly to point out plants and their medicinal uses on the hike. The trip ran smoothly and was very well organised. Ahmed paid close attention to our groups pace and energy levels and planned the perfect amount of breaks. The route we took was varied in terrain and landscape and the scenery is beautiful. Everything at the camp is arranged for you and the meals cooked were delicious and nutritious. Ahmed told stories by the fire and was great company in the mountains! Thank you Ahmed for such an incredible trip!

Best experience in Egypt - The best trip you can do in Sinai. Ahmed is an amazing guide and an even better person. Full of knowledge and enthusiasm, he goes the extra mile to make sure you have the best time possible. The food is delicious and everything is ready upon your arrival. If you’re looking for value for money, then look no further. Ahmed is a true professional and I highly recommend everyone go with him. Be warned, there are a LOT of very mediocre trips into the Sinai, but Ahmed is hands down your best bet for an amazing hike in the beautiful mountains of Sinai.

Best spiritual hiking experience with the best Ahmed. - A truly unforgettable experience! We went up Mount Sinai (Moses Mountain) on Christmas eve and spent the night camping there, Ahmed’s guidance, assistance and the dedication provided was nothing short of magical. Having the 2 days hiking and camping option enabled us to relax and enjoy every aspect of our trip. The food was made with love. Ahmed just wanted to say thank you for everything you did to make this trip one of the most enriching experiences of my life and for making us feel safe and like we’re family. If you’re looking for a spiritual hiking experience and learning about all the medicinal herbs up the way Ahmed is your guy!

Amazing and unforgettable - I had the fortune of hiking Mount Sinai and Mount Saint Catherine with Ahmed, an experience I will never forget. At around 150 dollars per day for solo travelers and 100 dollars per person in small groups it may seem pricey at first glance. But don't be fooled. You will see the most incredible views, eat traditional food cooked over a fireplace three times per day, sleep in cabins with mattresses and blankets while having Ahmed as an ever-attentive private guide AND another Bedouin carrying everything that is necessary for the trip. Any special wishes or requirements he will try to cater for. I very rarely write reviews, but Ahmed is more than worthy of this one. If you consider going to hike in Sinai, plan now before Saint Catherine gets too crowded, and Ahmed will be too busy.
