Highlights
  • Yin Yang Sea - Meet your tour guide and driver at the hotel lobby, and then head off to The Northeast Coast National Scenic Area. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery through the window during the 1-hour drive.

First, you will pass Bay of Two Colors, literally a bay where the sea is split into two colors ‘96 yellow and blue. The Chinese name ‘93Ying Yang Sea’94 is given because the contrasting colors are associated with the Chinese yin and yang symbol. The process of natural mineral formation results in this unique wonder, ‘93half golden, half blue’94 sea.

  • Bitoujiao Trail - Northeast Coast National Scenic Area is renowned for its gorgeous coastline and the strange rock formations. Bitou Cape is one of the three major capes in Taiwan, which has the most significant cape landform on the island. The hiking trail offers stunning views of the bay and capes from different angles, which has become a popular destination for a weekend excursion.
  • Fulong International Sand Sculpture Festival - After a short stop, enbus and head off to Fulong Beach to join the annual grand event at Taiwan’s northeast coast, Fulong International Sand Sculpture Art Festival.

Every year, world-class sand sculpture masters are invited to come here to create their masterpieces. Stroll on the beach and appreciate those vivid and fascinating sand sculptures, each of them will surely blow your mind. If time permits, you can tread the water, or build a sandcastle on your own, enjoy the beach and the summer breeze.

  • 水湾洞選煉廠遺址 - Before heading off to the next destination, you will stop by Shuinandong parking lot, where you can gaze afar at the illuminated Remains of the 13 Levels from the viewing platform. The once glorious Shuijinjiu mining industry (Shuinandong, Jinguashi and Jiufen), left the remains of copper mining and smelting, looks like the mystic castle in the Japanese animation movie, Castle in the Sky.
  • Keelung Miaokou Night Market - The last stop, fulfill your stomach in Keelung Miaokou Night Market. There are nearly 200 food vendors with reasonable prices, such as the Taiwanese Sticky Rice, Crab Thick Soup, Nutritious Sandwiches, Taiwanese Fried Fish Cake, Bubble Ice, etc. You can satisfy your cravings with the most authentic local foods without spending much money, and you will wish that your stomach is like a horse.
