  • Krusedol Monastery - Serb Orthodox monastery on the Fruška Gora mountain

According to the 2011 census results, it has a population of 8,750 inhabitants. The town has traditionally been known as the seat of the Serbian Orthodox Church in the Habsburg Monarchy, as well as political and cultural capital of Serbian Vojvodina after the May Assembly and during the Revolution in 1848.
  • Museum of Beekeeping and Wine Cellar Zivanovic - This small museum covers, unsurprisingly, beekeeping and winemaking. While you’re here, it’d be a crime not to try (and buy) a few glasses of the local wine, bermet. The wine degustation includes seven different wines and three types of honey.

Perfect day trip from Novi Sad - Wonderful day trip from Novi Sad to Fruska Gora and Sremski Karlovci. The tour is not too rushed and you get to see 3 different monasteries. The wine tasting in Srmski Karlovci was very nice, and it was interesting to try some different types of Serbian wines. Returned to Novi Sad early enough in the afternoon to have a late lunch and enjoy the afternoon/evening without being too tired. Guide was informative and gave great information.

Cultural, peaceful, & educational - We cannot say enough wonderful things about this experience! Blanketed in snow the national park was stunning to drive through and the monasteries we visited were exquisite in each of their unique beauty. The winery we stopped at offered a delightful tasting of wines and honey (yes, honey!). Our tour guide, Žarko, was beyond knowledgeable about the monasteries, wine, Serbian history and was deeply passionate about sharing his beautiful culture with us. It was like spending the morning/early afternoon with a good friend! We would highly recommend this experience!

Orthodox Christianity Atmosphere - Informative and authentic excursion of the four Orthodox monasteries and one wine tasting. Monasteries date back to 15th century. It was very atmospheric. Wine was good, and we got a couple of bottles of Bermet.

Appreciated that we had... - Appreciated that we had the option of either wine tasting or the Patriarchal Palace museum. Guide also dropped us off at the top of the Fortress in town so that we could explore more on our own.

Very good atmosphere - Our guide was very knowledgeable about the monasteries and local history, we were lucky enough to make it in time to see a Serbian Orthodox service in Novo Hopovo which was quite unique. The wine tasting at the end was also great, plenty of variations, and we even tried some varieties of honey that was locally produced.

Very Good Tour - My wife and did this trip as a private tour. We stopped at three monasteries, toured Sremski Karlovci and had two wine tastings. It was a good tour and we enjoyed it. The guide spoke good English and told us a lot about the area. We also hired them for a transfer from Novi Sad to Belgrade which worked out well. The only issue we had is that they aren’t good at working up custom tours. They have a menu of tours and stick with them, even for private tours. Prices were reasonable.
