How does a $240 per bottle taste? - Tasting 4 reds and a tawny from their premium range. Gorgeous location in a modern building amongst the vines. Polished limestone walls, stone walling and earthy but modern ambience. A very knowledgeable wine guide presents the 5 wines in elegant Reidel glasses. Tasting notes are on the placemat. Cheap Shiraz is $99. The top year Shiraz is $240 a bottle if tasting turns to buying. Wonderful wines and a chance to have your friend blind taste test you. The tawny from 1970 at $240 was like bottled summer sunlight.we actually bought one, it was that extraordinary. Great way to laze away a summer Sunday morning.
