Additional Information

Join our renowned Northern Lights excursion for the opportunity to witness this spectacular Arctic spectacle. We take you to the ideal location, a secluded mountain with a frequently clear sky and an unobstructed northern view.

Our Northern Lights tour has consistently received rave reviews over the years. That’s because our viewing site in the Rovaniemi region is unbeatable, devoid of other light sources, blessed with an unhindered view of the northern sky, and typically clear, even when the city is engulfed in clouds or fog. According to our extensive experience, the optimal viewing times are between 11 and 12 PM. However, spotting the lights requires a bit of luck, as their appearance is unpredictable, even during the tour! Prepare for delightful surprises!

This tour enables you to access remote locations unreachable by foot. You’ll ride as a passenger on a sleigh pulled by a guide’s snowmobile.

  • Vegetarian option is available, please advise at the time of booking if required

Great addventur in wild - this tour was a beautiful experience, and luckily we saw the northern lights , even if not 100% perfect. the guide David, and his colleague were good in the instructions, in guiding us through the forest and the frozen lake. it takes energy, and a bit of strength to drive the snowmobile, but it is an experience that I recommend.we started on time, after having the thermal clothes. and in reality the tour lasted longer than expected. excellent organization of the staff...we started on time, after having the thermal clothes.and actually the tour lasted longer than expected.excellent organization of the staff.congratulations

Beautiful experience and exceptional guide - Beautiful experience even the period was not the most suitable for aurora or snowmobile. They were the only one open in Rovaniemi providing this service in April and we had a great experience. This is mainly thanks to our exceptional guide Juho that has been incredibly insightful explaining all about nature and traditions of Finland. Snowmobile and equipment were new and the track was private, in good conditions and pretty wild. Thanks a lot and hopefully see you again.

Long waits and poor communication - Turned up at the time we were told to 1945, we received our clothing and then spent the next hour waiting for no one to tell us what was going on. We left at 2100 to drive nearly an hour to the ski mobiles to find out that 3 out of then were not working. So spent another half hour waiting while the guide called several people and tried to fix them, again this wasn’t communicated with us. When we did eventually get going we were only going for 15mins until the guides ski mobile broke down and we had to help him move this out the way, he had to take one off someone else in the group to continue the trip. The rest was ok but the lack of communication during this trip made it hard to enjoy as we spent a lot of time waiting with no explanation as to why.
