Brilliant - Seeing hobbiton was a experience of a lifetime so beautiful with lovely green land and hobbit homes feels like you are really in the movie

A very Hosbbitable Visit! - Although I’ve never seen the movie, I loved my Hobbiton experience! The movie set was so full of detail that it brought the characters to life even though they weren’t home when we visited! I can’t wait to watch the movie now! (But I wish I had watched it before!)

Perfect way to get to... - Perfect way to get to Hobbiton from Rotorura without a car! Really easy to meet up with bus in central part of city, and there’s some nice scenery along the way.

A great organised excursion ! - The experience was amazing !
From the moment we set off from Rotorua to Hobbiton, the driver made us feel at ease. We laughed a lot and he explained a lot about the town and the surrounding area.
When we got there, we were immediately immersed in the atmosphere with the cafeteria and the shop.
The guided tour of the place was really interesting, and we learnt a lot about the films and the shooting. There's plenty of time to enjoy the scenery, take lots of photos and observe the set in detail.
The meal was very good and varied, giving us lots of time to eat and chat before heading back on the bus.
Whether or not you're a fan of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, this is a must-see. The scenery and landscapes are stunning !

Exceeded our expectations! - Excellent and beautiful tour of The Shire set, lovely guides and driver, and a delicious lunch buffet is included in the tour, as well as a nice drink.

In Hobbiton - Going into the hobbit hole and seeing all the rooms, it was perfect. The detail was amazing. I wanted to live there forever!

Must-see - The tour gradually reveals new things. You start outside at the Hobbit holes, then move inside, which is absolutely amazing. Finally, you end at a sort of pub with drinks and lunch. A bit pricey but definitely worth it.

A wonderful day at Hobbiton - I was amazed at how detailed everything was at the Hobbiton site, especially in the Hobbit house that we were able to view. The lunch was more of a feast than a lunch and the drink in the Green Dragon Inn was nice also.
We had the most wonderful driver for our bus. He entertained us there and back with information about the area and involved each of us with songs from our own countries. It was lovely!

Amazing, hobbit hole interior was great - Seeing how the movie set was made in the stunning landscapes. Really felt like being in the movie. Being able to go into a hobbit hole as well. Great experience
