Rome in Limo Saved our Vacation - We had a 10 day cruise scheduled in February and booked several of our airport/ cruise port transfers as well as Rome tours and shore excursions with Rome in Limo in the months prior. 4 days before our sailing date, our cruise was cancelled. We pivoted and booked an AirBnB and decided to spend our vacation time day tripping around Italy and exploring Rome. Jany, the booking agent was outstanding with information and ideas over months of planning, and was an absolute gem in helping us pivot and modify our plans when our cruise got cancelled. Nick, was our driver over many days of trips. He greeted us warmly at the airport, escorted us to a beautiful large Mercedes van (which our party of 7 and multiple 6ft+ passengers appreciated) and provided warm and helpful companionship throughout our many times together. We did sightseeing around Rome, a trip down to the Amalfi Coast (Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii), a day trip throughout Tuscany including San Gimignano and wineries). Nick is an expert driver and maneuvered effortlessly through the chaos that is Rome city traffic, and kept us entertained, informed of the sights we saw and offered his services for any questions or help we needed over our extended trip. Our guides were also outstanding…Silvia provided a thorough and expert tour of the Vatican, her personal passion and knowledge were impressive. Guilia provided us a comprehensive and engaging tour of the Colosseum and Palatine Hill sights, taking the time to get to know our family, and exuding warmth and a genuine excitement to share her city’s history with us. She took many family pictures at scenic opportunities along the way, and really made our day. Finally, our guide for Pompeii, Lucio, was also outstanding. Besides revealing the events of the Mt. Vesuvius eruption, he made the site come alive for us, and helped us appreciate the sophisticated engineering, hydraulics, port building and other innovations, as well as the art and culture of the people who made Pompeii their home. Our group was comprised of ages 14, 17, 18, 22, 24, 45, 51. I appreciate the challenge it is to relate to and entertain such a wide range of ages and interests and our kids unanimously enjoyed their first trip to Europe and I appreciate the role Rome in Limo’s team had in salvaging our vacation and helping us make lifelong memories of our time in Italy.

Great day in Rome!! - This was one of 3 trips we did with Rome in Limo on our recent trip to Italy. Their drivers are fantastic!!! Very knowledgable and really fun people. We got to see a lot in a short time, skip to the front of all the lines and enjoyed our short time in Rome very much. We thank them for a great experience!!!!

A memorable day in Rome - We saw so much due to our wonderful guide, Barbara, and our outstanding driver, Alex. Barbara was extremely knowledgeable and made our visit memorable. Alex could not have been more skilled at negotiating the traffic.

Incredible Day! - Best way to see the city! We caught so much in a short amount of time, our driver took so much stress off of us from having to drag our teenager around, and our guide gave us so much knowledge and answered any question we had. We got to see everything ln the itinerary and more! And no waiting in lines. Not a single time during the day. I'll never forget St. Peter's Basilica. The highlight for me. Truly amazing.

Above and Beyond - Peter was incredible going above and beyond showing our family the beautiful sites of Rome. He was very informative and created an amazing day. Alessia was fabulous sharing the history and details of the Vatican City. Truly one of our family best adventures. Many thanks.

Worth the price! - We took an all day private car with driver tour of Rome. Our Driver Francesco was excellent! He was knowledgeable, accommodating and made sure we saw and did everything we could in Rome in one day! It was an extreme heat day and having our own vehicle was priceless. The private guide for our Vatican tour was one of the best experiences as well. Chiara had so much knowledge and insight it made it unforgettable! We highly recommend this tour experience!

Rome in Limo - Our driver, Peter, was great! He brought history to life by showing us in a book what the Colliseum used to look like vs how it looks now, along with other historical places. He was easy to find in the port and after our trip through the Vatican. Rome in Limo was very easy to work with.

BOOK THIS TOUR COMPANY!! Amazing ! - What can I say!!! This was one of the best decisions we made to see Rome as we only had two days there. Firstly! I'll start off by the experience of initially booking "Rome In A Day". This tour was booked three months in advance. Jany was so amazing in helping us prepare for this tour and purchasing our tickets in advance. She was always kind and courteous no matter what silly questions I may have had. On the day of the tour we were picked up in a very comfortable and clean vehicle by our guide Stefan. A wonderful, entertaining and informative person. We were dropped off at the colosseum one hour after pick up. There we were greeted by our colosseum tour guide. I forget her name. She completed a two hour tour through the colosseum, palatine hill and Roman forum. This was an extra cost over the cost of the tour BUT so so so worth it!! It amazes me how much information these tour guides have in the head. After this tour, we were with Stefan for the rest of the day. When you only have a limited amount of time in a huge city with so much history this is the way to go. Stefan showed us all the highlights of Rome, to many to list here. We were also brought to a great little restaurant that mostly locals use. Delicious!!! I can’t stress enough to anyone who only has limited time in Rome-BOOK THIS TOUR COMPANY!! It seemed a little costly at first but in the end it was not much more than booking a bus tour that has 20-40 people on it. We were 4 people all day with a wonderful guide. Excellent - We recently took the tour of Rome and the Vatican with Rome In Limo. We were in Rome a few days before our cruise. We took several tours during our trip but this was by far the best of all! To begin with I worked directly with Jany to set everything up. She was extremely responsive making sure all details were in order. Our tour guide Peter was prompt in picking us up at our hotel. He was absolutely wonderful. His level of knowledge was amazing ! Peter spent the day showing us around Rome, giving us a fabulous history lesson and looked after us. It was an amazing experience! I can’t recommend him enough. We had a wonderful lunch and then headed to the Vatican. Barbara met us there and did a great job of escorting us thru it’s magnificence. Peter then picked us up and safely delivered us back to our hotel. I am sure we experienced many “off the beaten path” areas of Rome most tours don’t include. None of our other tours came close to this experience. It was a trip we’ll never forget. Thank you to Peter and crew for making our first Rome trip a magical one!

Wonderful Tour of Rome - What a great experience. This was our first visit to Rome and was a trip to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Both the driver and our guide were so nice and friendly. They went above and beyond to make it a special tour. They created a very memorable and enjoyable experience for us. We highly recommend this company and would use them again without hesitation.
