Best walking/food tour in Rome! - It was easy to spot Daniel in the not crowded area he selected. Plus the Whats App introduction ahead of time was very much appreciated. Daniel was an excellent tour guide! He was full of interesting facts about the food, the history, the areas where we walked and so much more! Of all my tours, I remember more of his fun facts and history lessons than any other tour. . I highly recommend Daniel and this walking/food tour. Oh…The food selections were excellent too!

Great food - great guide - great experience! - This was a great tour - well worth the price paid. Our tour guide was Daniele, and he was one of the best tour guides we've ever had! He has so much knowledge about Rome, and especially the Jewish ghetto area. He is passionate about it and clearly loves Rome and his job as a tour guide. We learned so much! We were also fortunate that there were only the two of us on this paticular tour, so we got lots of personal attention! The food tastings were wonderful and lots of food. We had suppli, pizza, fried artichokes, gelato, and more. My favorite was the fried artichokes. So unique and yummy. We were stuffed by the end of the tour! Daniele spent some extra time with us on this tour, showing us special things and telling us a liitle about his life. We loved that and truly felt like we were friends by the end of the tour. This tour is a great choice - one of the best things we did during our trip to Rome. Book it for sure! I hope you get Daniele!

My wife and I had a... - My wife and I had a wonderful time touring the Campo du Fiori, Jewish Ghetto, Pantheon and surrounding streets. Despite the rainy weather, our guide was super positive, kind and informative. She showed us hidden secrets of the neighborhood, how the shape of today's buildings are due to an ancient Roman theater from 2000 years ago, and introduced us to fried artichokes and some world-changing pistachio gelato. Highly recommended.

A perfect mix of history, culture and…delicious Italian flavours! - Rome is Rome… sooo much to see and say about this wonderful city. I opted for this food-tasting walking tour and it was a spot-on choice! The tour touched some of the main sights of the area (Campo de’ fiori, the Jewish “ghetto”, Pantheon, Piazza Navona..), while leading us through the intricate urban grid of this neighborhood. A fascinating walk through time: from imperial Rome, to Baroque and the Renaissance, centuries of fine architecture, art, culture and religious history filled our eyes, exuding from every stone, street and piazza. This tour experience was a perfect balance between infomative and enjoyable, while at the same time it satisfied our cravings for delicious Italian street-food samples. Virginia, our tour guide, is a lovely Roman lady who clearly has a passion for what she does. She’s professional and friendly. She gave us plenty of historical information and kept us entertained also with anecdotes about ancient Rome. I particularly appreciated the laid-back atmosphere during the whole tour. I would definitely recommend this walking tour, to both a first-time visitor to get familiar with this area, and a repeat-traveller for a different look at this multifaceted city.

Fun Food+Knowledge Tour! - I can’t think of a better way to get to know Rome. I learned so much about the city and my Roman boyfriend did too! Virginia is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. As we learned about the history and different facts, there was food to go along with it. I don’t want to spoil any of it for folks who may go, but learning about the different styles of pizza, why foods have the names they do, etc. was all so interesting. And the artichoke??? *chef’s kiss* it was the best food I had my whole week and a half in Italy. TL;DR: 10/10 recommend. Eat well and learn a lot while you’re at it!
