We will stop for photos and talk about the history of Cinque Terre & its surrounding area. There is a lot to learn on our hike and the landscape constantly changes. You can take the ferry back to Riomaggiore, which is also a great way to see just how far you have walked. There is also a bus back to La Spezia or a ferry. This is not included in the price. Additional Information

This intimate group expedition is a mid-level hike offering exceptional panoramas. Unlike the Cinque Terre Trek, this journey presents a more demanding hike leading to an gratifying endpoint – Portovenere. We cater to your rhythm, ensuring ample time for relaxation. The trek to Portovenere requires a minimum of 7 hours. It is not advised for those suffering from acrophobia, as the hike does traverse some narrow parts on the peripheral trail. Upon reaching Portovenere, you’re free to swim, feast on lunch, or explore the concealed alleys. We’ll provide you your ferry ticket to return to Riomaggiore or Monterosso. However, if tumultuous seas lead to boat cancellations, you’d be rerouted via bus and train back to Cinque Terre. This trek can accommodate 1 to 10 individuals, with the average group consisting of 1 to 4 participants.

  • A maximum of 10 people per booking
  • If possible, wear good walking shoes with traction. NO sandals, flip flops or open toe shoes recommended
  • This is not for people who have vertigo. The trek goes over some thin areas on the outer trail
