João = Je WOW!!! - Returning for another adventure with João.
This time on the West full-day tour with lunch, where we were very lucky to see dolphins during our meal break.
The food was exceptional!
Despite my tendency for car sickness, I felt comfortable throughout. He's an amazing driver.
Meeting a curious cow on our way back to the hotel added a delightful touch.
João's warmth and care made this tour unforgettable, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts.
We took his recommendations for restaurants near our hotel and were very happy.

Great tour led by G (Gonsalo) - Great tour. Led by a thoroughly professional guide G( Gonsalo). He was entertaining and made the whole trip worth it.
We enjoyed the whole day,and what a day. Many interesting things to see.
We loved the Furnas experience and the Gates of Hell. Steam & water bubble up from the volcano below the surface. A popular traditional dish, which we had for lunch, involves various vegetables, meats & spices put in a pot and buried beneath the surface for 10 hours to be cooked from the heat of the volcano. Some of the dirt piles have the name of the restaurant, whose food is being cooked under the sign. An interesting side note is that their kale leaves are huge & not krinkly.Ribeira do's caldeiroes was a lovely park with waterfalls
The island is very interesting and extremely beautiful.
A must-do on your bucket list.

Wonderful day in the east of São Miguel - I had a wonderful day with João, our guide, and was able to explore the east of the island of Sao Miguel and all the beautiful places! Although the weather was partly rainy and quite cloudy, João made the tour an exciting and unforgettable experience with his open-minded, friendly manner and interesting information about the Azores.

Great day out with João - A great day seeing the East of Sao Miguel Island with our fantastic guide João. He was friendly, funny and informative throughout the whole day and made the experience even more enjoyable. We saw some beautiful sights, had a delicious lunch and had the chance to swim in the thermal pools. I would definitely reccomend this trip to anyone who is interested in seeing the highlights of this beautiful island.

Wonderful tour! - What a wonderful tour! Our guide Manuel was incredibly informative and personable. We had the luxury of some time flexibility at some stops due to it only being our group on the tour so that was a nice relaxing touch. Some of those views though……wow!! Would highly recommend this tour.

Awesome East Tour of Sao Miguel! - Loved this tour - so amazing and informative. Our guide 𝕁𝕠𝕒𝕠 𝔻𝕒ℂ𝕠𝕤𝕥𝕒 was fantastic and so funny and a gentleman. One of the girls on our tour lost her drone in the trees and he climbed up the mountain twice to try and get it out! Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic East Side Tour - If I could give this tour four and a half stars I would. We had a great guide whose name I know I'm going to misspell, so I will call him G, who really brought to life the places that we saw on the east side of Sao Miguel. And there were many - Nordeste, Furnas, and several other places along the way. I would highly recommend this tour.
