Get the history before you do anything eise - Very nice history. I have learned many things about Iceland this trip. Only criticism would be to have a sort of path on the floor and the flow was a bit uncertain

Interesting museum - Great museum for an overview of Icelandic history. There are very beautiful and particular pieces. Also recommended for people in wheelchairs. The staff were friendly and available for explanations. Possibility to use the internal cafeteria.

Educational and great audio guide - This museum was quite a nice surprise! It has an audio guide that you can access using your phone so it is a good idea to bring your earphone with you. We enjoyed the museum and how well the history of Iceland was explained. Recommendable.

Fascinating, informative and engaging. - Moving through the ages from the early settlers. Excellent display of artefacts and information audio very good.

History lovers, rejoice! - You could easily spend an entire day here! The collection narrates the history of Iceland with compelling artifacts, and I appreciated the addition of "A Rainbow Thread," a queer guide to the permanent exhibitions that asks visitors to think about what is left unsaid about queer life in traditional historical narratives and encourage critical thinking. I hope the museum strongly considers keeping this helpful pamphlet and offers the audio guide in the future, it was profound and important!

The museum was closed. Had ticket and could not use them. Have requested a refund. - None. If the museum is closed or has limited hours that needs to be disclosed before purchase. It was very disappointing.
