Brilliant tour in a magical cave - This was an amazing experience, well worth doing. Our guide was great, really passionate about the cave and really knowledgable - and she treated us to a beautiful song inside the cave at the end which was a magical experience. As it was winter, the paths were very icy and quite hard to walk on, so something to be aware of - but it meant there were beautiful icicles and stalacmites made from ice which just added to the experience and made the cave look even more breathtaking!

Amazing cave exploring - The tour guide is full experienced, the whole plan is fluent. This trip let me know how the cave born and some special history of it, at last of the tour, we try to stay in dark with beautiful song by guide, this make me unforgettable.

Exceptional - We have just made our family visit with our 2 children aged 6 and 12. A very beautiful experience, explanations, the history of this cave, then a song from our wonderful guide… All 4 of us loved this great experience.

Cool way to see a new terrain! - While in Iceland it was great to be able to explore all different types of terrains. Although the caves don't seem as exciting as waterfalls and glaciers at first, it was still fascinating to learn about why and how they were formed and the importance of them.

Cave is great! - Our guide - from Ireland (Nyall?) - was amazing! He knew so much about the cave and was nice and funny, too! The cave is spectacular and large enough that even a very claustrophobic person such as myself could enjoy the tour! Highly recommend!

Interesting stop - This tour was very interesting, mostly because there is nothing else really like it. The road there is quite bumpy. The best part of the cave is the ice formations. It looks just like the pictures you see on their site.

They do not refund the money even though they promise otherwise on the phone - I do not recommend it, the access road is uncertain and the privacy policy does not protect the consumer in any way. Not safety road winter - 1. I do not recommend purchasing a trip. We were driving 4x4 cars from Keflavik and the last 10 km before the cave we had to give up further travel due to the impassable and icy sliding road. Getting to the attraction was dangerous, we called to cancel and ask for a refund because continuing the trip in such conditions would be dangerous. They were told on the phone that they understood that a refund would be possible because of bad weather conditions (safety), we just had to send e-mails. After sending the e-mail, it was decided not to give us the money back. It was suggested to postpone the date, which of course was not possible because we were no longer in Iceland. We feel cheated and do not recommend the attractions - especially in winter.

Great cave - Poor tour - I was excited to visit this cave having read all the reviews. The inside of the cave was spectacular and that is about the only positive thing I can say. If you want to enjoy this cave. Look at the photos. The tour however is appalling. The group was way too big and the guides were terrible at managing the crowds. The tours overlap each other and barely have I ever seen as much chaos as when we passed the other group. That happened twice, going in and coming out. You spend minutes just waiting for some old or poorly fit person from to manoeuvre in or out of the . There were two guides, the lead guide just carried on through the cave while the group barely moved and the assistant guide stood at the back doing nothing. Apparently the guide on the tour before us decided just to leave his group and head out on his own. I mean, why not? Who cares? The stragglers left behind were not to careful to not talk over our guide as they passed us. You may enjoy this tour if you happen to hear what the guide is saying or see what they are pointing at or if you just do not care much about money. This is not a cheap tour especially if you are with a family but unfortunately this company is cheap. The helmets were so heavily scratched that I wondered if we would be crawling but then I checked the manufacturing date. These were 7 years old helmets. The headlights were so worn that you could barely turn them on. There are other caves in Iceland. If caving is your thing, choose wisely.
