- Bora Bora - This small group excursion takes you on a tour of the lagoon onboard fast and comfortable boats, equipped with sun canopy for an enjoyable sun protection while cruising from one to another snorkelling spot (8 passengers maximum).
During this unique experience, you will discover pristine marine areas of the lagoon led by our qualified and passionate guides. Depending on the weather and wildlife behaviour on the day, you will visit between 3-4 spots:
First thing in the morning, you’ll head to the Manta Rays feeding ground to spot these underwater angels, before cruising to discover two renowned local coral gardens. If the conditions allow, you’ll also spend time looking for the Eagle Rays.
Your guide will jump in the water with you to point out the different species and help out where required people who are not comfortable swimmers. For people who have never snorkelled or are not confident swimmers, we recommend our private tours for a more personable experience during which the guide will be able to focus all his attention on you. Half day snorkel with Fabien - Fabien was our guide, spectacular snorkel trip. We appreciated his knowledge or the island and his humor, was so fun! Best snorkeling ever!

Great snorkeling day with Pierre! - It was a beautiful day, with perfect conditions. Pierre was very knowledgeable, kind and funny. He was clear with instructions and very attentive when watching out for us. At the end of the day, Pierre made an extra stop so we would have another chance to see a manta ray and we did which was very exciting! Would definitely recommend and go again.

The Beautiful Waters of Bora Bora! - I had a great time on the boat with Kevin and Mana. The coral garden was the most beautiful I have every seen!! We tried to find manta rays at several spots but they were being elusive. But we did have the amazing experience of seeing the eagle rays!! And I saw a shark at the second coral garden too! The tour around the island, the stunning water colours and beautiful scenery, not to mention lots of time in the water made this a truly wonderful day!!

Great UW experience - The eagle and manta rays were fantastic, the highlight though...the coral gardens. Amazing underwater experience you can't get anywhere else. Our guide was great as we were the only non French speakers out of the nine of us and he did a great job bringing us along on the journey. Fun to go all the way around the lagoon and get history too.

Spectacular Snorkeling in Bora Bora - Ari our guide exceeded our expectations! We snorkeled through a beautiful coral garden full of vibrant colors and many varieties of fish. He then brought us to snorkel at a “cleaning station” where two 15 foot manta rays floated below us - just magical! We then went on to snorkel with six spotted eagle rays, and concluded at a coral reef of “1,000 fish.” An absolutely spectacular half day excursion - Aro made it that much more special knowing exactly where to take us!

Unique experience - Half day observing the majestic Manta rays..: Fabien allowed us to meet them, his knowledge of the lagoon gave us access to magical places for Snorkeling...we were also able to see leopard rays.. He was on top with our children. Thanks to Fabien for this great adventure.

Bora Bora snorkeling excursion - Great snorkeling outing with Pierre on May 7. Not being a great expert in fins and snorkels and as there was quite a current, Pierre gave me his buoy and towed me the whole time. I must have tired him!!!!!!!!! I was the ball and chain of this excursion!!!!! Many thanks for your patience and kindness towards me 😂😂😂😂 2 stops in coral gardens, more manta rays and leopards and as a bonus around thirty dolphins who put on a show in front of the boat on the way back. Towels and drinks included!
I highly recommend Reef Discovery and congratulations to Pierre for his good humor and humor. Christiane
