pululuahua reserve, museum stop cancelled - Tour to the crater was delayed by 1 hr, as original driver was in accident per tour office. Spent 15 minutes trying to convince someone that we were impacted on this trip. Had to send voucher and phone number to verify this. Holiday inn express in Quito helped to rectify situation. So got a new tour guide with a run down cab at 3:30 PM. Rush hour started and stop at crater was poor, as afternoon clouds rolled in( remember delayed one hr). Quito had rolling electrical blackouts, and thus museum closed early, as no electricity. Substituted equator stop just before it closed. Guide at this stop was great and saw many unusual physical attractions( balancing, water drainage, strength testing, etc). So this was a 3.5 hr tour (not 4) did not see crater, missed museum, but had a good time at the equator. Andrea, our new guide made the most out of a poor situation. She did a great job. So basically, we missed most everything on the original tour(Pululuhua Reserve and Museo el Sol, Equator stop is worth it. Also, we had to contact the local tour operator, where is our driver? There was no call or text on phone to us.
