- Queenstown Golf Club - Next you will get to see the wonderful Queenstown Golf Course which sits right on the Kelvin Heights Peninsula overlooking the delightful Lake Wakatipu. There shores are a common place for the locals to go boating and swimming. You will then proceed down the 90% calm waters perusing the million dollar homes along the shoreline.
- Kawarau River - As you sail past willow islands and see local birdlife we make our way right down to the historic Kawarau Falls Dam which marks the start of the famous Kawarau River.
- The Remarkables Ski Area - The Remarkable mountain range
- Frankton Trail - We then edge our way along the opposing shoreline where you can see the Frankton Arm shoreline where locals often frequent to enjoy the waters in summer and then back along the Frankton Arm Trail that takes us back safely to Queenstown Bay.

Great afternoon cruise on the lake. - We had an amazing cruise on Wakatipu. Troy was an awesome skipper and tour guide as he took us up the frankton arm explaining all of the points of interest, some history and a view of the lakeside architecture. All this plus a wet bar on the boat and great for families as well. I definitely recommend.

Million dollar views - Thanks to CaptainTroy for a fun filled and educational trip on the beautiful lake at Queenstown NZ. Captain Troy kept everyone informed on all information about the lake and surrounding areas, which made the trip. most enjoyable. Thx Captain Troy for a great trip.

Bad viator experience - My experience with cruise was super good. Sorry to say But my experience with Viator is very very bad. Because viator quote me 102$ for this activity but never mentioned 102 USD. It has to be 102USd. I thought it was NZD. So I booked straight away and end paying extra money to Money to Viator. If I booked directly with million dollar cruise it was less. I just need my money back from Viator as they never mentioned clearly the currency

Fantastic cruise - Wow!!!
We were lucky enough to have Peter as our guide around Wakatipu lake
What a knowledgable and friendly guy.
We had the best time and learnt soo much about the area!
We would definitely recommend this cruise if you want to learn about the history of the area, delivered in way that’s fun and does not overload you

Great family trip - Great family trip around the lake, with Wayne at the helm making it a memorable adventure with excellent knowledge and relaxed atmosphere, we did this 10 years ago and was just as amazing this time around.

Nice trip around the lake - Worthwhile tour. Troy explained everything well and we had a great trip around the lake . My ten year old enjoyed the ride and we saw a lot of Queenstown from the Lake

Million Dollar Cruise! - Nice relaxing cruise around the lake. Troy is a top host and very knowledgeable. Great banter and he also takes photos!

Disappointing experience - Wayne the captain of the cruise treated some passengers in an impolite manner because they didn't understand what he meant when he said there is a "honesty jar" to pay for anything they order onboard. He then proceeded to ridicule them on the microphone and said "and people wonder why I drink at night". It doesn't matter if you are the owner of the business, please be considerate. English isn't everyone's first language; not everyone understands the lingo; and you have an accent to top it all off. The experience of watching these people get mocked ruined what would have otherwise been a lovely cruise. Do better please Wayne.
