Alpine Luxury Tours Helicopter - Absolutely amazing. Helicopter fight was brilliant, we landed on glaciers and flew through some unbelievable scenery. Milford sound was great too and the picnic lunch provided was really good.

Magnificent! - Our guide Ben rates a 10 out of 5 stars! He was chock full of information about all things New Zealand, past and present. He answered all our questions and gracefully accommodated every request. Our magical experience was made even better for his companionship. He is a true asset to the company!

The best day out with Dylan - Our driver was Dylan, and a more skilled, informative and companiable guide you couldn't imagine. Just like a day out with family really! Our day at Milford Sound was the best day of our two-week South Island trip, and it would not have been possible, given the length of the drive from Queenstown, without Dylan to make it comfortable and enjoyable. It was well-organised and seamless, and certainly did not seem like a 10-hour round trip. Thoroughly recommended as the way to see Milford Sound! Booking the trip on-line was easy and quick, and everything was provided to make the day very memorable -- including the pesky kea parrots trying to get into the car!

No regrets - The whole experience was fantastic, mainly thanks to our great guide, Ben. The beauty of Queenstown is unmatched, made all the more beautiful by the wealth of history that Ben shared with us.

THE Ultimate in NZ Experience - and the team to boot! - Special thanks have to go to Lee, Dani and Rob. Having never been overseas before, let alone book a tour with a company you can only research online - it can be tricky to make the call to do it. From the get go, Lee and Dani's communication (i did bother them a fair bit!) was simply outstanding. They made sure everything was explained in great detail, and made us feel comfortable we were in good hands. Come the day, we were a little apprehensive about how a private drive to Milford Sour would go, would it be awkward, would it be weird? Nah, none of that. Rob is an absolute Star! Genuinely great bloke, had EXTENSIVE knowledge on all the scenery, knew all the special spots ;), he was hilarious, didn't hesitate to give us plenty of time in all the spots along the way to take it all in, even took awesome photos of us to remember it by, he looked after us, made us so comfortable and added SO much to the day, he really made the day for us. A shame that we got so caught up in the scenery and moments it was all over so soon, and we didn't get a photo at the end with him, genuinely sad over that. The Heli tour back gave us to see parts of NZ and Queenstown / Fiordland we could never see by foot - which we will remember forever. To Lee, you know what you did for us post-trip - Your level of customer experience is unparalleled and my partner and i sincerely thank you for it. Great tour to Milford Sound!! - My family and I did the private tour to Milford sound with alpine luxury tours. Rob was out guide and we had a great time with him. The scenery is breathtaking all along the way. Milford sound is amazing. We had our lunch while in the boat and it was also delicious. We had a great time and definitely recommend this tour to anyone in the area.

The highlight of our New Zealand tour - This experience sets the bar for all others - simply put it was the best experience we had in New Zealand. Our tour guide Rob picked us up in a Mercedes sports utility vehicle from our hotel in Queenstown. He made the 4 hour drive to Queenstown safely with a number of memorable stops - Te Anau, Mirror Lakes, waterfalls - we even saw several Kea and a Weka. Every detail was thought through including lunch, and Rob was super knowledgeable about the entire journey. Add on a spectacular 90 minute cruise of Milford Sound and it was truly a remarkable experience. Thank you Rob for making this a memory of a lifetime.

BEST EXPERIENCE!! - Best experience of our life! Excellent and professional service. We originally booked with another tour company and it was so horrible from the start that we got off within 10min. Alpine tours were AMAZING! Received feedback within 5min stating that they could help us with a private tour. Our tourguide Dylan was great! We will only be using Alpine tours from now on! OUTSTANDING!! - Hiring a private driver was the BEST thing we did. Dylan was an amazing driver and tour guide. He was very pleasant, professional and cared very much about our comfort. He stopped wherever we wanted and added to the experience. This was much better than taking a bus (we didn’t have to wait anywhere)! This excursion was worth every penny.
