Insightful Intro to Pune with a Great Guide - Very insightful trip - guide had a lot of knowledge about the visited sites and the history of Pune and was even willing to extend the walking tour as festive parades were taking place on that day. Had great answers to every question and was super-nice and helpful (we even tried some of the local food together). Very recommended if you want to ge ta good first feeling of what the older parts of Pune are all about and how the city became what it is today.

Great use of my limited time in Pune! - I got to do and see every single highlight that had been mentioned to me (my boyfriend had previously lived in Pune for almost a decade and was very excited to return and show me around). Sachin really took the time and went above and beyond to show and explain places, and was very patient with my need for English since I’m only just starting to understand Marathi. We were able to see Shanivar Wada, Lal Mahal, Dagadusheth Ganesh temple, Mahatma Phule Mandai, Tulshibaug, and Visharmbaugh Wada. We even had time to stop for a couple of snacks, and Sachin was great with picking out delicious things I couldn’t get at home. Overall I learned a lot and it was wonderful to get such a good look at one of my partner’s favorite places.
