But several spots less than half an hour from the marina offer nice outings, quiet, without current, good visibility. Lots of not shy green and hawksbill turtles (around thirty in 50 minutes at “the Source”), a sleeper or a gray from time to time, many large schools of fish. 10 minutes by car from the city center, easy parking. If you do not have a car, several bus lines drop you off and pick you up within 100 meters. An ideal center for your first dives in Polynesia if you spend a few days in Papeete and its surroundings.
