Duration: 6 hours
Cancellation: 1 day learn more
Highlights
  • Green Bay - The start and finish of our trip. It is very close to a small peninsula called ‘Nissia’ (islands). A very good place for spotting sea turtles.
  • Cape Greco National Forest Park - The kayaking trip takes place along the south coast of Protaras and mainly the east part of Cape Greko coastline. Cape Greko is characterised by crystal clear usually calm waters, Konnos beach, one of the best on the island, and a rocky coastline with various rock formations, including ‘Kamara tou Koraka’ (Crow’s Arch) natural bridge. The trip is customisable.

Snorkelling is also highly recommended, with great possibilities for sea turtle spotting.

  • Konnos Bay - The trip passes through Konnos beach. A stop here is highly recommended, for swimming, snorkelling and sea turtle spotting
  • Agioi Anargyroi Chapel - A cycladic chapel on the coastline of Cape Greko. There is also a sea cave that was a sanctuary just downhill from the chapel
  • Kamara Tou Koraka - A very particular natural arch, that can be reached by foot and the sea.

Additional Information

We initiate from Green Bay beach and paddle southward in our kayaks just beyond Cape Greko until we reach Konnos beach’s edge. Further south, we pass by Agioi Anargyroi, a chapel and cave, reaching as far as ‘Kamara tou Koraka’, a naturally-formed bridge. We then venture back in the opposite direction via Agioi Anargyroi, discovering more of the coastline up to Konnos beach’s north end. If the sea is tranquil, which is often the case during summer, snorkeling is highly recommended (depending on customer’s preference). There’s a great chance to sight sea turtles in either Konnos beach or Green bay.

Only two kayakers are allowed at any given time before 2023, and four beyond 2023.

If the customers concur and rough sea is anticipated, we’ll opt to kayak around Agia Napa Sea Caves. Should the weather forecast indicate unfavorable conditions everywhere, we’ll cancel the excursion.

  • While our kayaks float by definition and all kayakers were personal flotation devices, we expect all kayakers to be able to swim
  • Our kayaks are rated at 125 kg of load. We prefer not to have loads of significantly more than 100 kg so that the ride is comfortable.
