Additional Information

This tour stands out because of the perspectives and stories shared by local guides. We’ll explore monasteries that have held immense significance for coastal tribes over many centuries. Nowadays, these sites are not heavily exploited by the tourism industry; however, they retain their charm, scenic beauty, and historical significance. Our first stop will be at the Praskvica Monastery. Perched above Sveti Stefan, the most opulent resort in Montenegro managed by the renowned Aman resort, this monastery is deeply embedded in the heritage of the Paštrovići tribe. Its original edifice dates back to 1050, preceding the schism of Christianity by four years. After a 45-minute tour, we’ll proceed towards Rustovo Monastery. This women’s monastery is a part of the Orthodox Church, dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase local products crafted by the nuns and immerse yourself in the serene tranquility of the location.

Tour is strongly recommended! - I was a wonderful, peaceful, beautiful and a really interesting tour. If you want to see something really special and unusual this tour is what you need. These places are not mentioned in standard list of touristic sights, but perhaps they will tell you about Montenegro even more then the most popular sights. Guide is a talented storyteller. He also gave us a lot of advices and tipps about Montenegro besides tour.

Amazingly expected tour. - Petar was an exceptional host and guide. His knowledge of his country was outstanding as well as his passion. This was a worthwhile tour as he took us to not only the Petrozavodsk Monastery but to the Nuns convent. We met the nuns who were so humble and purchased some homegrown and homemade products too. Petar also took us to some fantastic viewing points to see Sveti Stefan. I would highly recommend this tour.

Memorable tour and experience - Definitely this tour was a perfect decision because it was the best way to discover places which otherwise I would never visit. So much history, culture and breathtaking views and nature. So much history which is hidden behind the scene. Petar was full of knowledge and gave me so much information about the location and about Montenegro in general. I am so sorry that I did not have more time to visit other places which he mentioned and which are the cradle of Montenegrin history. But, I hope I will in the future :)

A must thing to do! - Amazing sighteeing tour, we didn't expect it to be this good. Such a nice weather, a bit of wind, warm and we had best host ever. Petar knows so many things about whole Montenegro, not only Budva and it was interesting to listen to him all the way. Who knows if we'll ever be back but if we do come, we'll make sure to do this tour with Petar again. Cheers and thank you!
