Highlights
- Via Gradillo - The meeting place is located a few steps from the main beach (La Praia), the NaturArte artistic route and the very famous Praiano watchtower. Once they arrive home, our guests will sit down to drink a glass of wine made by us and taste a small homemade aperitif, after breaking the ice they will get to work. They will prepare the starter, two types of pasta and sauce (depends on the preparation) and the dessert, using products from our garden or from our fishing moments, following our family’s recipes. They will sit at the table enjoying all their work and finishing with the dessert and the handcrafted digestive or digestives. They will leave us with the awareness of having lived a unique experience and having enriched their culinary experience. The menu and recipes vary based on seasonality and the harvest in the garden and the daily catch. Below are some menu examples.

We’re Carla and Rocco, a youthful pair with a keenness for delectable dishes. Our shared backgrounds in the catering industry have breathed life into our venture: merging culinary ardor, heritage and pure ingredients. We want our visitors to feel like they’re home. After enjoying an aperitif of homemade starters and a tour of our gardens, they’ll embark on a journey of cooking from scratch, exploring our family’s customary cuisine. They’ll savor lunch or dinner, accompanied by a flavorful glass of wine. We’ll conclude the meal, which they’ve prepared themselves, with our desserts—from time-honored family formulas. To end, we have the Bè liqueur: a blend of citrus, spices, and herbs from our terrain. It’s going to be an unparalleled and fulfilling adventure. Our guests will be treated and involved in memorable occasions. All will be marked by an air of readiness and spontaneity, just like a big family.

Worth every penny! - I strongly suggest you book this cooking class! Carla and Rocco invite only a very small group into their home for the class (it was my husband and I + one other couple). They are so welcoming, and ensure that you actually LEARN! We had such a good time and cannot wait to try Carla and Rocco’s recipes at home. Make sure you arrive hungry! 😃

Wonder Experience - I cannot say enough about Roccos’s and Carla’s hospitality. They welcomed us into their wonderful home and made us feel like family. Rocco gave us the history behind their concept and served us wonderful wine. Meanwhile Carla taught my wife and I how to make a great traditional desert and 2 different pasta’s. All the while we engaged in wonderful conversation about life in general. The allotted time flew by and we wish we could have stayed longer!

Would recommend to ANYONE visiting the Amalfi Coast!!! - Rocco & Carla was great hosts! Make you feel very welcome and the food and wine was delicious. All the ingredients used are all locally grown & sourced which makes the experience very genuine. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast, we stayed in Praiano at the Hotel Onda Verde, and the walk to Rocco & Carla’s house was just 5 minutes away. Something we will remember forever, Thanks again, hopefully will visit again when we return to Italy 🇮🇹👌🏼

Amazing experience!! A must. - A hands on experience with the most amazing family! Carla was fantastic. Carla gave very easy instructions and was quite patient with our questions. Her husband, Rocco, was so welcoming and kind. Great class. Highly recommend.

Learn how to make homemade pasta! - My friend and I took our kids to this awesome cooking class with Rocco and Carla. She taught us how to make home made pasta and a dessert. We enjoyed home made wine and it was delicious!!! The experience started with Carla showing us how to make the dough and how to form different pasta shapes and then it was our turn to make our own dough! We would do this again! We’re so excited to try to repeat this when we return home! There are about 50 stairs but this is common in these parts of Almafi. You sit outside on their shaded patio for the class. Thank you Rocco and Carla!!

Amazing Cooking Class Experience - My wife and I participated in this experience on our honeymoon and it was truly one of the the highlights of our trip. Being invited into the home of someone who lives in the area was a truly unique experience and Rocco and Carla were incredibly kind and made the experience so memorable. The food that we prepared was also delicious and simple enough to recreate when we got back home. I cannot recommend this experience enough if you are going to be in Praiano.

Lovely cooking experience - Rocco and Carla were a lovely couple with rich family history! Making tiramisu and homemade pasta while sampling their homemade wine in their home was an authentic wonderful experience! Truly appreciated their time experience and inviting me into their home !

Amazing pasta making class on the Amalfi coast - Rocco, Carla, and Alexandro were AMAZING! What a great experience. They were very kind and very patient with us as we did our best to make pasta.
Carla is a master at pasta making. Watching her work was marvelous. Very informative, and tons of fun.
Rocco was very welcoming and was an excellent host, even sharing stories about their multigenerational farm that they source all of their food and drinks from (including a wonderful homemade wine).
Alexandro is the future of their family land.
They take groups of 5ish people. My fiance and I ended up meeting with a married couple and the husbands mother. We had tons to talk about, shared laughs and wine, and cooked together.
If you're looking for a great night with friends, family, or looking to meet some new people to share an experience... This is the place.
Be careful though... You might not want to leave :p
