Great tour of central Prague architecture - This tour was very cool. Vadim’s knowledge of Prague’s architectural history is impressive and he made the various buildings we visited really come alive. I especially liked how he could position us to see how older and newer buildings spoke to each other in terms of their characteristics. Even for people who know Prague well (I lived there for five years), he was able to bring new perspectives to well-known places, such as the murals inside the main post office depicting the history of communication. Highly recommended!

A fabulous art nouveau tour with Annelie! - We went on a private art nouveau walking tour with Annelie as our guide. We were extremely impressed by the depth and breadth of her knowledge of art nouveau but also other traditions of art and architecture in the city and beyond. She was an excellent communicator providing many insights into the stories and history of Vienna, art nouveau and Otto Wagner and his disciples in particular. She went out of her her way to bring us to unique sites that would otherwise not be accessible to the public. An attentive and enthusiastic guide with a passion for thé city and the arts and the ability to communicate it expertly in English and French. What more can you ask for? We will highly recommend her to our friends.

The spirit of Prague - This tour is an absolute must to understand the spirit of Prague. Vadim was a perfect guide, knowledgeable and enthusiastic in explaining both the artforms and history. We saw so much more than we would have found on our own.

Insight Indeed! - This was the highlight of my time in Prague. My tour was with the founder, Bonita Rhoads. I had booked her all to myself, which was expensive but great. This was exactly the tour I hoped for because it gave me context and the social history for everything I was seeing. There's a lot of visual stimulation in Prague, and Bonita directed my eye to things I might never have noticed on my own. If you're intellectually curious and appreciate being talked up to, this is the tour for you. Bonita also showed me the great spots for "selfies" and then took them for me.

Bonita wove together her... - Bonita wove together her expansive knowledge of history, culture, art, and architecture to create an amazing experience of the many art nouveau and cubist gems in Prague. If I'd known ahead of time that the tour would be this good, it would have been on my bucket list.

Fantastic private tour in a beautiful city! - Vadim directed my eyes upward to enjoy the architecture of this lovely city. It was great fun to wander into arcades that I would not have discovered on my own. His explanations also provided an understanding of how the buildings reflect the character of the Czeck people, including their history and aspirations. A private tour is so much more than wandering alone or with a group - it's a connection with a local and Vadim is absolutely charming. Don't hesitate to book!

Side Streets and Cultural Gems - This is an excellent tour, whether it's your first time to Prague or your tenth. Bonita showed us a side of Prague that you just aren't going to see on a typical "city tour." She's an American expat who moved to Prague many years ago and has parlayed her expertise on history and architecture into this fascinating tour. We learned so much about Prague's cultural history and were introduced to Cubism, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Rococo and even Brutalism, and how these styles intertwined with the 20th-century history of Prague. Can't recommend enough.

Fantastic walking tour that adds so much depth to Prague's jewels of architecture - I have been in love with Art Nouveau for the last two decades, including visiting notable Art Nouveau museums, architecture, and exhibitions in the United States, France and Japan, so when I heard about Insight Cities' Art Nouveau & Cubist Architecture: Prague after 1900 tour, I knew I needed to include it on my trip to Central Europe. Listed as one of the ten best architecture tours in the world and as one of the five best architecture tours in Europe, co-founder Bonita's extensive knowledge of turn-of-the-century politics, art movements, and architecture brought these stunning buildings to vibrant life. We spent over four hours on foot and by public transportation exploring some of Prague's most notable examples of Art Nouveau and Cubist architecture, including the House of the Black Madonna, Legiobanka, the Municipal House, the Topic building, Hotel Central and Hotel Evropa, as well as some of the gorgeous Art Nouveau villas in the suburbs of Prague. She provided examples of period newspaper articles to provide context, as well as famous works of art to illustrate the different styles and motifs. Bonita was fantastic about customizing the tour to include specific buildings I was interested in, as well as providing extensive restaurant recommendations in Prague and Vienna (I had also booked the Otto Wagner tour in Vienna through Insight Cities) and our tour was one of the highlights of my two weeks in Central Europe. Highly recommended on your next trip to Prague!!

Great tour to explore Prague's Art Nouveau and Cubism - What a great way to explore Prague and see it under a different lense. Vadim is not your average tour guide, he is an expert who presented Prague's Art Nouveau and Cubism from a historical, political and cultural point of view. It made it interesting for my sister, who is an architect, as well as for me, a veterinarian with no claims to such knowledge. He was very accommodating to my request to bring my small dog along, and we were allowed to enter all the buildings in the tour. Highly recommend!

More than motifs - Bonita is a fabulous guide who weaves politics, philosophy, local planning, historical nuance as reflected in the Czech Nouveau and cubism. This is more that just spotting the characteristics of Nouveau tour. Highly recommended.
