Additional Information

Explore Prague like a local with a native guide, Dana, who was born and grew up here. Join this unique 4.5-hour walk which spans not only key landmarks like Prague Castle, Powder Tower and Charles Bridge, but also uncovers hidden gems in the beautiful, lesser-visited areas of downtown Prague. This tour is exclusive to a small group, limited to 4 persons, offering a chance to delve far from the madding crowd and experience the city in a non-conventional manner.

Catering towards sustainable tourism as opposed to mass tourism in Prague, our half-day getaway is a sanctuary from the chaotic tourist places. However, note that this journey is suitable for active adults who have a love for walking and peacefully exploring - this isn’t a ‘flag and microphone’ tour.

The journey includes a cozy coffee break at a café run by proud local residents, striving to offer a personal experience instead of a tourist-oriented business.

  • Tour is not suitable for persons who have difficulty walking longer distances
  • Not recommended for children
  • Not suitable for prams
  • Difficulty: medium, there is one uphill part and also cobble stones in the streets
  • Comfortable walking shoes are recommended

An Excellent Tour and Introduction to Praha. - Dana is an amazing and very knowledgable guide who is as personable as her web page. Going in a maximum of 4 is so much nicer than big groups. The tour was wonderful with local content and the interaction with Dana created a very high value day. We recommend her and her tour very highly.

Awesome experience - Fantastic way to spend the day with Dana. She is so friendly and pleasant and is full of all kinds of interesting info on Prague and its history. She took into consideration everyone and explained and answered all questions we had. She showed us all the “not so known untouristy” places which unless you know the city well , you will miss. Had a great time on the tour and would definitely recommend anyone who visits Prague

This tour was fantastic!! Dana is very knowledgeable, patient, and does her job extremely well! We loved her tour!! - Dana does a wonderful tour of Prague!! She is so knowledgeable! My two longtime college friends and myself, along with a Canadian gentleman, spent several hours visiting Prague, learning about its history, seeing off the beaten path places we would not have seen on our own, receiving fantastic tips, etc!!! We totally recommend her tour!!

EXCELLENT! - EXCELLENT! I must first say that at first I was skeptical about booking a guidebook for Prague. We definitely did not want to do the usual mass tourism guides. Nonetheless, while exploring on the internet I stumbled by chance upon Dana´s site and her proposal for an unconventional 3-hour private guided tour to explore Prague´s hidden gems. She convinced us and we chose it. Well, not only did we not regret the choice, but I think it was one of the best choices we have ever made regarding travel arrangements. Dana is an enthusiastic guide, kind and ready to answer any doubts or questions. She was also very kind to our kids. She is a great connoisseur of the particularities of the city and helps you immerse yourself in the history of this beautiful city that is Prague. Dana spent almost 4 hours with us, when actually the planned duration was 3 hours. Our kids were also very enthusiastic and will not forget our vacation in Prague also thanks to Dana's valuable contribution. In all, we spent 130€ for a private tour just for us of almost 4 hours and with bus tickets included, a more than honest price when you consider Dana's great professionalism. Excellent and highly recommended. Ivan & Consuelo

Awesome, Highlight of trip, - Let me start by saying I don’t usually post reviews, but Dana was so outstanding that I feel I must. (How do you say awesome in Chek.) We were lucky enough to have Dana show us around Prague for two afternoons. She did an unbelievable job and was both accompanying and flexible. One quick example, after the first afternoon we agreed to an itinerary for the second afternoon. We were leaving on a Viking river cruise of the Elba River the following day and had to change plans. We informed Dana of our need to make modifications as she walked through our hotel door. Amazingly Dana didn’t miss a beat and we had a new itinerary in five minutes and boy was it fun. It was St. Patrick’s Day and I had no idea I could get a green beer in Prague ( to enjoy as a welcomed break half way though our afternoon tour. Dana’s tours were a top highlight of our river cruise and trip to Europe, Dave and Gina

Unforgettable Prague Experience with Dana - Our family of five embarked on a private tour of Prague with Dana, and it’s an understatement to say we were thoroughly pleased. Beyond her profound knowledge of Prague and its history, Dana’s warmth and friendliness shine through in every interaction. She introduced us to the non-touristic Prague, sharing its hidden corners and secrets with an enthusiasm that’s contagious. Dana was incredibly accommodating to our interests, making our experience truly remarkable. It’s clear that Dana is passionate about her work, and this passion made our visit to Prague exceptionally special. We have nothing but gratitude for Dana, who has shown us her Prague with such grace and warmth. A million thanks, Dana, for giving us a glimpse into the heart of your city. We hope to revisit someday. Kudos to you for doing such an outstanding job.
