- Our groups per vehicle can go up to 30 people
- Seating for children is available, they are not allow to go on the laps
- The pick-up at Hotel is only available for the ones that choose the Pick-up included option.
- For the ones that choose the pick-up included option if the address is not given more that 24h before of the tour they have to meet the guide on the meeting point.
- The ones that book Portuguese tours, may have to do the visits in English to the wineries
- Since they request a minimum number to provide a tour in Portuguese language, if they do not reach it you will have to join the English tour

Amazing all round experience! - Where to start! First our tour guide Ivo was superb and gave us lots of information about the area, the river and was just all round fun to hang out with. We arrived at the first winery, Santa Julia, where the tour guide Ana was very informative on the making of wine and port. We then got to taste a couple of types of wine as well as local olive oil. All very delicious! We then had lunch on the premises, which was also brilliant - I had a meat dish but there was also a fish and veggie option. From there we went to Santa Luiz winery where we had a tour with a larger group and tried the port - gave us all a chance to choose the best one to buy. Finally we had a river cruise on the Douro river. The weather was perfect so it was an opportune time to get amazing photos (also a bar on the boat if you hadn't had your share). Then it was the trip back home to Porto. Again Ivo made sure to keep us happy and provided amazing anecdotes along the trip. Would definitely recommend having a smaller group of 8 (a mini van full) as it is less chaotic and you can get more information.

Excellent Day In The Douro River Valley - Pedro was awesome, he picked us up on time and we had an excellent day with him. We had a small group of six, so we got to know a couple from Belgium and Australia. I would highly recommend this tour.

A great tour and good value - Ivo our guide was brilliant, very knowledgable, professional and fun!
I'd definitely book this tour to see the scenery, hear about the wine and port making. Tastings were lovely and lunch was very high quality.
The boat trip was fantastic too, especially if you get to steer (under supervision)!

Tour seating location is important . - 1st Sep 2024 . Our tour guide I think her name was Melania was superb, her knowledge and explanation of the region bought great value to the experience. She even threw in a few unexpected diversions without wasting time on the journey which I believe everyone enjoyed. Most importantly head count in and out the bus was her priority which is important when traveling with family. The tour itself was superb. Try to sit on the bus on the left side when going as return is not the same way so someone sitting on the right side will not get the same view on the return, and most folks sit in the same seats by leaving belongings on the seat to hold the spot.

I had a great Douro Valley day trip! - With this trip you probably get the most out of what is possible to experience in 1 day in the Douro Valley.
First we got a beautiful view by bus driving down the valley. Then we arrived at the first Quinta where a local guide showed and told us a few things about the process of making wine. Then we got to have our first wine tasting of the day with a followed-up lunch. After that we drove to the next Quinta and got a small tour there aswell ending with our second wine tasting. Lastly we drove to our last destination to get on board of a motorized Rabelo to end the day with a relaxed river tour through the valley.
Ivo, our guide, gave us a really detailed description of the plan for the day. With his humor and also his knowledge of the Douro Valley he added to the great experience of the tour. Even the driver, Zè, managed to drive us safely in and out. He was always ready for us to continue our tour.
I can recommend this tour if you want to see, experience and inform yourself about the Douro Valley, especially with Ivo as a guide.

Lovely views, wine, and guide 🍷 - This was probably the highlight of my Portugal trip. First time coming to Portugal/Europe and everyone was so welcoming and sweet, especially my guide Milena. She was so cheerful, detailed, and informational. She was frequently checking in on us and making sure we were comfortable and enjoying the tour the entire time. I loved her energy and the beautiful views and delicious wine. We also made a quick stop at this quaint town that really showed Portuguese charm since we had some time. Loved that it was genuine and authentic. Thanks Milena you were awesome!! 🦋 And shoutout to the driver as well! Hopefully I can come back and do this tour with friends or fam :)
