Highlights
  • Coffin Bay National Park - Your day begins as it does for most Eyre Peninsula locals, resetting and rejuvenating by the ocean. This tour takes in Coffin Bay National Park, home to a swathe of the Eyre Peninsula’s best beaches, including Almonta Beach. Roam secluded, sandy shores without another soul in sight - except for the resident mob of kangaroos and emus - then settle in by the sea for morning tea with panoramic views across the vast landscape.
  • Experience Coffin Bay Oyster Farm Tours - Venture around the coast to our next destination, where world-famous Coffin Bay oysters are primed for tasting. Learn about the Eyre Peninsula’s enviable seafood industry as you glide through crystal-clear waters to Experience Coffin Bay’s working oyster farm. See oysters plucked straight from the ocean, then sample the briny fruits of your labour.
  • Coffin Bay - Your gourmet seafood escape continues back on land. Pull up a seat overlooking the bay at Oyster HQ and sample a range of local produce sourced from the surrounding sea and land.
  • Boston Bay Wines - Back in Port Lincoln, sweeping views await at Boston Bay Wines. Perched above the Southern Ocean, sample a range of premium wines

Oysters and Sand - highly recommended - We did this tour on 5/4/2024. Our guide was Jeff. The tour was fantastic - especially the tour in the sand dunes and to the oyster farms. Jeff is such a great guide and his personal touch, and stories and explanations make all the difference. We recommend this tour strongly and suggest you try to get Jeff as your guide. A great day - very enjoyable and informative.

Highly recommend this day tour. - Ian looked after us very well on our full day tour. He picked us up from the Port Lincoln Tourist park & dropped us back. Full of local knowledge. Golden Island Beach was incredible, Coffin Bay lunch was superb & we learnt so much about the oyster industry. A nice drop in to the winery, just topped the day off nicely. Thanks very much Ian! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Exceptional experience - My wife and I organised a private Coffin Bay day tour with Untamed Escapes and it ended up being an incredible experience. Joe - our guide - was exceptional and took all the necessary time to make us discover all secret places around Coffin Bay (National Park, town, and Oyster farms), but also organised a delicious dinner at HQ oyster, beautiful wine tasting, discovering further wildlife in Port Lincoln region, and eventually a visit of Port Lincoln city & industry. Joe definitely made our day and we are looking forward to come back again to discover more of the region!

The Perfect day on the West Coast. - What an amazing day. Our host Beebs was so energetic and informative to make it the perfect day. We explored the sights of Port Lincoln first then onto Coffin Bay. Beaches, National Park and then an oyster farm experience mixed in with a seafood lunch. Finished the day with a winery tour which was so relaxing and just perfect. Thank You Beebs it is an experience I will never forget. 10/10 .

Relaxing and indulgent - The whole day tour was well planned and showcased the local produce excellently. Our driver, Ian was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the area. We absolutely loved sampling the local produce direct from the primary producers and restaurants. Highly recommend this tour.

Very tasty! - Ian was an enthusiastic guide and storyteller. There were 8 passengers and we all enjoyed each other's company. We loved the Seafood Lunch! The boat trip to the Oyster Beds was a bit disappointing. We were parked in the middle of them, but the talk and show and tell might just as wll have taken place in a classroom. Somehow it was disconnected from where we were.
