Wonderful, memorable tour - We couldn't decide between Johnny's "Western Algarve" and "Historical Algarve" tour, so we contacted him through his website. This was probably the best decision we made during our vacation. Johnny worked with us to tailor a tour specifically for us. As we got to know each other over the course of the tour, Johnny suggested some other stops along the way that he thought (correctly) would be of interest to us. Johnny is a thoughtful, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and engaging guide. Not just a fountain of information and anecdote, but also curious about us and our experiences. We spent the day conversing with him both in the comfort of his air conditioned van and walking around historically and culturally significant towns and landmarks, and came away richer for the experience and feeling like we had just made a very good friend. Highly recommend, private tour experience was fab! - Having visited Albufeira 19 times since 2006… the stand out that made this year different to every other was we had an incredible day with Johnny's Tours. Not only was Johnny professional and super accommodating from the start, he couldn’t have done more to make our day a special and memorable experience. I reached out and explained we had visited Albufeira many times and asked for a quote for a pre-defined tour on the website, Johnny came back with recommendations as to where exactly we should visit based on what I’d told him and on the day even adapted this as he got to know us better! I loved learning from Johnnys super extensive knowledge of the areas that we visited. He is genuinely passionate about his home country, and this comes across in his energy and commitment to giving his customers the best experience. He’s also really good at taking photos 📸! I could go on forever with this review but will leave it there as I don’t want to spoil experiences for others but it was definitely a day and a birthday experience to remember. HIGHLY RECOMMEND JOHNNY'S TOURS! - We spent two wonderful and very educational days with Johnny of Johnny's Tours. Johnny showed us exotic areas of the Algarve that we would never have found on our own. We discovered Loulé and Carvoeiro, two fascinating towns we had never heard of, thanks to him. Johnny sees to every detail to make your tour enjoyable. He knows the history of every inch of the land, and he's a great storyteller. He's really a great guy.

You must use Johnny’s tours! - 5* day seeing parts of the algarve we’d never have known about. Joao is phenomenal at his job - incredibly passionate and professional and gives you the most special day. It’s an absolute must-do 👌🏻 the trip to Olhao and the islands were mindblowing. We loved visiting Loule and Quinta da Tor vineyard was such a great find. Topped off by a secret beach location for sunset. What a day!

Excellent tour guide & driver! - Johnny is very knowledgeable about all regions of Portugal. He is a very safe driver and would highly recommend his tours! He has a very nice personality and was a pleasure to have as our driver. We will definitely use his services again in the future when we return to Portugal and would highly recommend his services/tours to others.
