Exceptionally wonderful!! - This was the best day! Johnny was very accommodating and knowledgeable. We viewed the most beautiful beaches, and landscapes. Lunch was wonderful and the boat tour of the shoreline and caves was outstanding!

Western Algarve Tour with Johnnie’s Tours - Five of us went to the Western Algarve with Johnnie. It was a phenomenal tour. The Algarve is a magical place and Johnnies love of what he does and his pride in his country shine through every moment. He is very knowledgeable and shares his knowledge in an interesting and fun manner. He took us to many quaint little villages and intriguing places that a tourist would never find on their own. He was very flexible and interested in what we wanted and the pace we were comfortable with. Johnnie and the Western Algarve won our hearts! Our tour ended with Johnnie finding us the biggest bag of the sweetest oranges ever for 3 euro.

THE BEST DAY!! - THE BEST DAY!! We had the best day with Johnny!! He was so knowledgeable about the area, we felt like we got a fabulous historical perspective along with so much cultural insight. We also felt like we got a little of a behind the scenes tour and not the same 3 attractions that everyone goes to. He provided details that only a certified, trained, and local tour guide could give. And he was so lovely about taking pictures for us and documenting where we were visiting (because he rightly knew we would have them all confused by the end of the day). He took amazing videos as well as photos, escorted to all sites, arranged a lovely lunch at a beachfront restaurant, the list goes on and on. And lastly, he really went the extra mile to make sure we saw everything possible putting in well over the 8 hours we expected. If you want an incredible tour seeing beautiful sights AND you want to learn something too, all while being well taken care, then Johnny is the tour guide for you!!

Thoughtful and thorough - Johnny couldn't have been more conscientious and thoughtful. Days before the tour, he was in touch to help us plan the day. Paid attention to details large and small. He took a lot of trouble to make sure we saw everything he thought mattered and that he could squeeze in during our day.

A Must Do! - This was the highlight of our trip to Portugal. Johnny is the BEST. His communication prior to the day was exceptional, picking us up on time at our AIRBNB. He is professional, friendly, respectful and so knowledgeable about the area. His enthusiasm was infectious. We had a great lunch on the beach, along with some downtime wandering the shops. We saw so many beautiful places in the Algarve's and did not want the day to end. He also provided us with great recommendations for other places to visit. We will surely come back, not only to see more of the Algarves, but our new friend!

One of the best! - Jimmy our guide was sensational. His English was excellent as was his knowledge of and enthusiasm for the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and were sad when it was over. We highly recommend Jimmy. You won’t be disappointed! 5 stars!!

Book this tour! It was amazing!! - This was the perfect full day tour of the algarve area. Johnny was so knowledge of the area (he’s from there) & had the best hidden gems. Unfortunately the weather was bad and we could not do the boat tour for safety reasons, but at the end of the day I didn’t even care!! We still got to see the most amazing caves and views! He made lunch reservations at Antonio’s on the beach. The view & food was phenomenal. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour & cannot wait to come back & do another one!! Book this tour you will not regret it. Oh and also- he takes wonderful photos— I swear he should be a photographer on the side!

The King of the Coast!!! Obrigado Johnny!!! - My wife and I had the pleasure of spending the day with Johnny and could not have had a more amazing experience. Besides being incredibly knowledgeable, he made sure that we had the best possible trip, even modifying our excursion so that we could see what we truly wanted to. He made sure that we had the best of everything, also going out of his way to make sure my wife’s birthday was celebrated along the way. Very kind man. We could not recommend his tour more highly. If you’re coming to the Algarve coast, I doubt you’ll find anyone better.
