Beyond our expectations ! - What an experience!! Joao, our driver and guide created an experience of a lifetime for us. He was kind, patient and so knowledgeable. We spent a relaxing day exploring the island at our own pace, saw amazing sights and have a lifetime of great memories. Joao provide us with an authentic Azores picnic and he documented our journey by providing us a file of personal photos he took of us during the day . This is a must “do“ when you visit Sao Miguel. Joao is the best!

Tour after which it is impossible not to fall in love with São Miguel and Azores! - Amazing trip that gave us opportunity to hear local stories, visit hidden gems and get to each spot of Sao Miguel island from east to west, from south to north in just one day! Many thanks for the amazing tour, after which it is impossible not to fall in love with the Azores! Our teenagers absolutely loved the humor and easy-going manner of our guide who spoke perfect English and provided very insightful local take on what's is happening on the island. Do not be afraid that you might get tired or bored: for us, full day of riding around the island flew by in a second! We were so glad that we booked with Your Tours and Joao - we were amazed how it is possible to see all highs and lows, mountains and ocean-side, from tea factory to Furnas in 8-9 hours. It was pleasant surprise that we saw island beyond what was in the description as Joao drove us even further to Nordeste mountains. Be aware that the "snack" that was generously shared is more like a very authentic lunch after which we even did not want to have dinner! :) What can I say - it was a real thrill and absolute treat!

Amazing! - We had a great experience in San Miguel thanks to João, he was amazing! João is very knowledgeable of his homeland. The best way to see a place is through the eyes of a local! João did a great job! João took us to a beautiful park for a picnic snack. For us it was a lunch with all local items and it was great ! João thought of everything ! Thank you for treating us like family João . Can't wait to come back to Ponta Delgada.

Great day in The Azores!! - João is absolutely amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable, and so much fun. He organized a lovely lunch, the tour was fantastic, and we saw the island with the benefit of a local guide who knew all the shortcuts and we had the most real tour ever. Our most heartfelt thanks to João and his lovely wife for an exceptional day.

Great Personal Touch - Joao was famtastic! He loves his island and knows it very well. We saw everything, the good, not so good and came away with an understaning of the country, the people and their culture. The "snack" was actually a picnic with local breads, wine, beer, cheese, crackers, jam. We spent 8 hours with Joao and felt we had a new friend in the Azores.

Gorgeous Island tour - We started out with a magnificent view, had a special request to get some Azorean wine, so stopped at a great store. A couple other stops for great views, then on the the Baths at Furnas! Wow, so much fun to soak in the various hot pools, waterfalls and relaxation. On to one of the lakes where they provided a fantastic snack with all local products, bread, beer, pate', pastries, cookies, a feast. Then on to the Blu and Green lagoons in the caldera, Amazing! Unfortunately our ship was late arriving and we had to go. Looking forward to going back, and will certainly book with this company again! A wonderful tour, THANK YOU!!
