What an adventure! - We took the full day tour with our teenage son. It was definitely the best day of our vacation in the Azores. The machines were new and meticulously maintained so there was no worry about safety. We saw some stunning scenery, took amazing photos, and had a delicious lunch. Our tour guide, Filipe, was friendly, professional, and accommodating. He had great information about the island and took great care to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. I recommend this tour operator without reservation. Tip: if they offer to lend you a jacket, take it. It was so cold in the higher elevations!

Highlight of our Trip! - I absolutely loved this adventure! As other travelers have said, it was definitely the highlight of our Sao Miguel vacation. I would recommend wearing pants or longer shorts and just know that you'll get dusty if it's been dry outside, but it's SO worth it. I did bring gloves but didn't wear them - I don't think they were needed. I'd never ridden an ATV previously but Felipe was wonderful at teaching and very patient, and I'm glad I had my own bike!

Fantastic island adventure! - This experience was one of the most valuable and worthwhile during our time in São Miguel. It is a fantastic way to see the northwestern part of the island and the varied landscapes of the area. Filipe is a fantastic guide and we are very happy that we booked the full day rather than the half day. The included lunch was a very authentic experience and the extra time spent riding along the perimeter of Sete Cidades was enjoyable! We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting São Miguel!

SO much fun!!!! A fantastic experience - Filipe was an excellent guide, and I cannot rate this tour more highly!! My husband and I booked the full day tour while visiting the Azores on our honeymoon (DEFINITELY get your own quads if you're comfortable, it's so much fun), and it was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip. The views were mostly obscured while we were up above the caldeira—but it seriously only added to the experience! It looked like we were on a strip of road through nothingness—and the glimpses of views with sun shining through the mist was very mystical. Along with Filipe, there was one other couple with us, so we had a nice, smaller-sized group and great company. We had well planned stops for espresso and lunch and bathroom breaks, and got to see a huge variety of sights around NE Sao Miguel. I could have gone 5 hours more! :) Thanks Filipe for a great day!

Likely the highlight of my trip to The Azores! - This day was probably the ultimate highlight of our trip! My friend and I ended up being the only two on the tour this day so we had it all to ourselves which ended up being pretty awesome! A few days before the tour, we moved our date back one day because the day we originally booked expected rain showers all day. I'm so glad we did! The weather was BEAUTIFUL when we quad biked and the views were incredible. Filipe was an excellent guide and it was not hard to follow him or keep up with his pace. I loved all of the viewpoints both at the top and bottom of the lakes. The majority of the ride is scenic and many moments I found myself taken aback by the beauty and views. Absolutely spectacular. Also, lunch was delicious! 100% recommend to anyone visiting the island!

Outstanding Experience!!! - From start to finish, this was an exceptional tour. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Sao Miguel. Philipe and Sophia are amazing guides, who are very knowledgeable of the islands history and land formation. Their English is very good and they were very cautious at all times as well. This tour took us to the most beautiful lookout points that we would never have seen had we not taken the full day Quad Biking Tour. I am super happy that we opted to take the full day tour as well. It may seem like too long of an outing for some, but it was actually perfect. There are plenty of stops along the way where we could rest and enjoy the gorgeous views. It was not tiring at all. We will for sure do this outing again when we return to Sao Miguel in the future. Thank you so much Philipe and Sophia! This tour will live on in our hearts. You guys are amazing and we definitely see you again in the future.

Great tour. - Great views, guide and tour! Bikes where in good condition and the guide was nice and very informative and helping. We had nice weather which made the day perfect.

UNREAL DAY!! - Hands down the best way to explore parts of Sao Miguel & Sete Cidades! I was concerned that maybe the full day might be a bit long, but as I sit here and write this review I wish we were still out there! I will be booking with Filipe every time I visit Sao Miguel, no hesitation. The bikes were automatic and the trails are not too difficult so practically anybody can ride them. Aside from that the owner/operator Filipe, was very friendly and knowledgeable of the Island and some of the less touristy spots to explore. Not to mention he spoke very good English so that made it easier for us to ask questions etc. Overall, if you haven't toured Sete Cidades or any parts of Sao Miguel on Filipe's Quad bikes, you really haven't experienced one of if not THE best activity to do on Island. 10/10 recommend!
