- Polonnaruwa - you will take a cycling tour of one of the better kept ruins of ancient Ceylon with English / German / French / Russian / Arabic /Japanese / Chinese luggage speaking guide - the UNESCO World Heritage City of Polonnaruwa, which was the medieval capital of Sri Lanka. Today you will be cycling about 10km on soft surfaces as you whizz between the ruins. The ancient heart of Sri Lanka. An important royal capital with its well-preserved 12th century ruins & impressive stone culture recalls an inspired past. Although nearly 1000 years old, it is much younger than Anuradhapura and generally in better repair. The monuments are arranged in a reasonably compact garden setting and their development is easier to follow.

7:30AM: Following breakfast, a car will take you to Polonnaruwa, a drive lasting approximately one and a half hours.
9:00 - 11:30AM: Accompanied by a guide, cycle through some of the best-preserved ruins of ancient Ceylon - the World Heritage City of Polonnaruwa recognized by UNESCO. On this jaunt, you will cover about 10km on soft trails amid nearly millennium-old ruins.
11:30AM: Once the Polonnaruwa exploration concludes, you will be transported to Habarana, en route to Hiriwadunna Village Safari. This journey will take about an hour.
12:30 - 3:30PM: Delve into the Hiriwadunna Village Safari, which includes a bullock cart ride, a boat trip, a village house visit, a glimpse at a local vegetable patch, a traditional local meal, and a Tuk-Tuk ride.
4:00 - 6:30PM: Witness the allure of Sigiriya rock fortress escorted by a guide. Characterized by its golden granite ‘toadstool’, rising into the brilliant blueness from a hot, barren scrubland which, come rainy season, converts into a water garden.
6:30PM: You will be returned to your hotel.
