Highly recommend - I was unsure about going to Polonnaruwa but I'm glad I did! Hasith provided excellent service and is a very safe driver compared to other ones I rode with in Sri Lanka. If you're into history, culture, nature, archaeology.... Polonnaruwa is vast and amazing. Saw several animals: deer, monitor lizards, monkeys, birds and peacocks on the road driving back to Kandy. Lunch spot was very beautiful in a natural setting viewing a lake. Long day but worth it! A trip highlight for me.
