Join a local guide on a tour of Polignano a Mare, the seaside gem that was home to the renowned Domenico Modugno, also known as “Mr. Volare”.
As part of the tour, you’ll immerse yourself in the Mediterranean spirit as you explore the unique alleyways of the town center, view the striking sea from grand terraces, and seize the opportunity to photograph captivating sights such as artistic street phrases, quaint corners, the main Church, and the Clock Square.
The tour includes a variety of tastings of local delicacies that have made Polignano and Puglia recognized worldwide:
• Special coffee – a Mario Campanella’s creative interpretation of coffee famous worldwide;
• Traditional Apulian Focaccia;
• Classic ‘Panzerotto’ filled with mozzarella and tomato sauce, along with numerous other variations;
• A glass of local wine, served with Burrata and Capocollo di Martina Franca (a Slow Food Presidium product since 2000), to be savoured with an ocean view.

Perfect tour for Food and Histoy - We booked this tour, Cassandra was our tour family leader.
She communicated with us prior for directions, she treated us as family, history of Apulian food and drinks. We were guided through areas we may have not found on our own.
Would highly recommend and I hope you get the same guide- she was amazing!

A walk with a friend. - Everyone had a great time and enjoyed interacting with Alassandra. She got everyone engaged and it felt like it was a tour with a friend than a company guide.

Amazing! Would highly recommend!!! - Really wonderful time. Alessandra was such a fantastic host; so warm, very knowledgeable and made really excellent choices for food, drink and beauty spots. Would highly recommend ! ( arrive with an empty stomach.. you will leave full!!) really excellent value too.

Pugliese delights - Our guide, Alessandra was wonderful, she was friendly, sociable and gave us a lot of insight into Pugliese food. We highly recommend this tour. You get to eat quite a bit and even enjoy a glass of wine at the end.

Perfect food tour in Poglignano a Mare - We went on a guided food tour today with lovely Alessandra, and what an experience!! We got to see the city's many beautiful places and taste the most delicious local food and drink accompanied by a perfect guide who gave us a great insight into the Puglia cuisine, culture and history. - and lots of good tips for further experiences. We can't wait to come back @Alessandra 😀

Fun tour with very warm guide - We forgot the name of our guide, but she was lovely and gave us plenty of facts about Polignano. She was passionate about sharing her town and famous snacks/coffee/wine with us and was so helpful with local recommendations. Our tour duration was longer than expected, and we appreciated this as we were really enjoying our time.

The food tour that never was - Hard to comment on food tour itself as never happened in our case.
Had a booking for 7 only to receive a phone call on the morning of the tour that there would be no 5.30pm tour happening. Reason stated was that there had been a problem with our booking portal.
After this cancellation call and having applied for a refund about an hour later received another call stating that they could offer a private tour at a higher cost at 5.30pm.
Not very impressed with the customer service as given the last minute cancellation the least that could have been done was to offer the tour at the same price we paid.
Silver lining managed to get my money back, but would avoid this company!
