a beautiful full-day safari - we had an unforgettable day. This was partly due to the fact that the entire group consisted of Dutch people and our guide was Dutch but has lived in Crete for over 30 years. Ruud 1 was the perfect person for us.

Geoff & trusty Land Rover Spartacus provide a fantastic day out. - All the 5* reviews say it all. We've been on jeep safaris on other holidays but none as good as this with the wonderful Geoff driving and guiding. On time pick up, amazing route, great on-board banter, extensive knowledge and insights, spectacular views and sights, great lunch.

5 star brilliant day out - We had an amazing day with Geoff. First Time in crete and felt like we learned alot. The day was packed with different things to do and see. The lunch provided was very nice and Geoff was an amazing tour guide keeping it fun and knowledgeable. Would 100% recommend. Would definitely go again.

The trip to do - Cannot recommend this trip enough.Gary our driver was really knowledgeable, informative & friendly. A raconteur of sone great anecdotes too. Top guide We were a party of 6 on our tour which gave us plenty of space.We were so lucky to see 12 or 13 Griffon vultures,the tree climbing goats (yep its true).We stopped at some beautiful villages & view points.The Olive oil tastings plus olives & Raki were delicious. Luch was absolutely gorgeous. If you only book one trip.Make it this one.

Well worth a day of your vacation! - I think the reviews of the tours by SafariClub.gr say it all, this is an experience to do if you have the time and want to get out and see more of Crete. We had the very excellent Geoff for our tour. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Island, its habitats and it's environment. His enthusiasm and humour helped to create a friendly and interactive group on the tour. The views are breath taking. The island of Crete if you do nothing but stay near or around your hotel will be a mystery, but tours like this open your eyes to the spectacular interior landscapes of the island. I truly recommend doing these tours. They are worth the money. Tips: Don't take to much in terms of bags etc. If your Land Rover is full to capacity (8 people) then it can be a little cramp. If you are going to venture to Zeus' Cave, make sure you have some decent shoes, it is steep climb, and slippery in the cave itself. If it is hot it is a brutal walk, so take some water, you can get a bottle from one of the shops at the bottom of the walk. Finally, take in the sights and sounds, the island is stunning.

Safari trip with Gary the goat killer. - We where on a trip today (02.09.23), with Gary the goat killer, and he was an absolute fantastic host. So fantastic with alot of stories about the greek culture, try to smell to different herbs and guess what it is, see all the stunning spots he showed us and hear about how it is to live down here all year around. If we come to greek again, this would be something we must do again.

Great Adventure - Gary "The Goat Killer" was AMAZING! He was funny, personable, and informative. He provides you with experiences that makes you feel and understand the culture. He provides picture perfect views that will last a lifetime.

A fantastic day spent exploring the real Crete! - What an incredible day! Our guide Geoff and his trusted silver steed Spartacus picked us (2 adults + 2 kids 9 & 6yo) up from our hotel bang on time and we headed off for one of the best days of our Cretan holiday! Geoff was fantastic - very knowledgeable, really outgoing and would super attentive. We were fortunate enough to see a Golden Eagle, and numerous Vultures and tree climbing goats 😂. Thoroughly recommend this excursion!

Katharo Route - Brilliant experience with Gary.. would highly recommend! It was nice to see the traditional villages and viewpoints, try cretan bread, olive oil and herbs, bought some local Honey etc and got local food which was lovely to finish with.. This route allows you to go to Zeus cave with an extra charge.. it is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as my mother had to wait at the bottom for us to come back.. it is a hike in hot weather 🥵 Gary had us laughing start to finish and could not ask for a better guide 🙂

Outstanding !!!!!!!!!! - These guys are superb, this was by a long way the best trip I’ve done of its kind! The knowledge of our two tour guides / safari drivers was excellent and nothing was too much trouble my two children loved it. A superb lunch and the stop offs are like nothing else ! Change nothing team safari club I’d do this again and again ! Just totally brilliant Thank you
