The best experience in the rainforest! - We had an amazing time! Hiking through the rainforest and swimming next to a beautiful waterfall. The views were amazing and the host was incredible, showing us the way and making sure we were ok at all times. To top it all off, we had some delicious Belizian local food for lunch! 1000% recomend!!

Must do trip in Belize - My boyfriend and I had an amazing time! We saw tons of birds, a snake, howler monkeys, fish and plenty of plants/trees. We liked our day tour so much, we decided to do a night tour as well. It was AMAZING! We saw spiders and tarantulas, scorpions, night walkers and heard many more animals in the distance. Ricky was our tour guide and was fantastic. I would highly recommend him for any tour through cockscomb that you decide to go on!

Great tour!! - The waterfall was amazing! The hike was beautiful! So many species of plants. I didnt try the termite breakfast but others did. Just kidding. Not breakfast just a survival skill Ian explained if you got lost in the jungle. Ian was an awesome tour guide. He kept us engaged with the history and culture of Belize. He pointed out lots of animal footprints, how old they were and possibly where they were traveling. He talked of his family's and other family's involvement to make the community a success. He took us to lunch at a local snack shack. Delicious! Really great tour. I would definitely recommend this tour and would do it again.

Must do in Placencia - Ian was an amazing guide and I had the best trip - would definitely recommend doing the cockscomb basin tour

Ian Saved Our Vacation! - Ian and Barefoot Services saved our vacation! My family arrived in Placencia ready for 3 days of water-based fun. After 2 days of cancelled activities due to extreme winds and fearful that our final day's activity in Placencia would also be cancelled, we reached out to Barefoot Services to see if they would be able to accommodate a last-minute booking the following day if our snorkeling trip was cancelled. Murphy’s Law, the snorkeling trip was cancelled. But Ian from Barefoot Services came to our rescue. We headed to the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary where Ian led us on an amazing hike up the Tiger Fern Trail (Ian recommended this hike for my family instead of the inner tube activity which we had originally requested. And I’m so glad we followed his recommendation!) Ian educated us along the hike and led us to breathtaking views with Victoria Peak in the distance. He also encouraged us to hike a little farther to a waterfall that was beyond our expectations. My entire family jumped off the rocks into the water and soaked in the beauty of our surroundings. Ian is not only an amazing guide, but an incredible person. Ian's objective was to ensure an incredible experience with safety in mind. He went above and beyond to make sure our final day in Belize was memorable and he absolutely succeeded. Despite our late start, Ian did not rush us (he even offered to stop at a chocolate factory on the way home - unfortunately it was closed). I highly recommend Barefoot Services and can't thank Ian enough for a most memorable day.

Highly recommend - Ian and David were great guides. They were so knowledgeable about the vegetation in the area that we hiked through. Although we didn’t see any Jaguars, it was fun, just to hike the trail, float down the river and hike to the waterfall. David had an amazing story about his chicken and lunch was fabulous. Highly recommend the company. They were very responsive and great to work with.

Best Day! Thanks Ian - Had the best day doing the Jaguar T4b hike! Ian was a knowledgeable professional and fun guide. Took care of us and our needs given various levels of fitness and made sure everyone had an incredibly positive experience. View at summit was amazing and the waterfall was stunning. Barefoot and Ian made the whole trip from pick up to drop off fantastic. We learned a lot, had a beautiful day and would absolutely do it again with Barefoot. 10/10

Family fun! - Our guide Ian made the trip amazing. He was personable, knowledgeable, and educated us on the history and ecosystem of the preserve. It was a great way to spend the day.

Go to the Jungle - Ian, our guide, was a superior tour guide: friendly, careful, attentive, safety-conscious, very knowledgeable about locale, history, nature. We were picked up as planned and drove to the Cockcomb nature preserve. Hiked to the put-in and rode the tubes peacefully down the river. The hike to the waterfall was a bit more challenging, but worth it.

Fabulous time had by all - Pablo picked us up at our resort in town and drove us out to the preserve then river tubing and finally the Che’il Mayan Chocolate factory. He was super informative about nature and history and very careful regarding our safety. The trails were wet muddy, and full of all the delight and hazards the jungle has to offer. The river tubing was spectacular! Lots of birds and very relaxing. I didn't think I'd enjoy the factory as much as I did. It is a small family owned business and everything was exceptionally interesting. Who knew chocolate was a fruit? Even with 3 tours in one we were back by 430. His choice of a roadside cafe for lunch was also much enjoyed. Thanks folks!
