Highlights
  • Plaza de Armas de Pisco - The tour starts with pickup from your hotel in Pisco to the Marina Turistica where you will board our speedboat to begin our adventure to the stunning Ballestas Islands (group service - all with mask and faceshield).

On the way you’ll stop at the Paracas Peninsula to see the enigmatic figure of the Candelabro, stunning design drawn on the side of a hill in the Peninsula. Nobody knows for sure who did it or why. There are many hypotheses regarding its origin, some believe it is related to the Nazca Lines but still found no proof or evidence that can define its creation.

Afterward you will head off to Ballestas Island where you will enjoy a stunning worlds filled with birds and sea lions. You will navigate around the islands at a distance allowed and probably some caves but this will be depending on the condition of the sea.

At the end of the tour you will be returned to the port and then transfered back to Pisco main square where the service ends.

Highlight of our 32 day South American cruise - Our guide was waiting inside the ship port and on time. Despite being told by Princess cruises that you would have to take a shuttle all the way to town, and that private tours would not be inside the port, they were incorrect. I received an email the night before to state that they had filled out all paperwork, and that they would be indeed only 14 feet from the gangway. . We left on time, and as soon as we arrived, we were escorted to the large speedboat with a cover as well as life jackets. We saw sea lions, a penguin or two, and multiple island birds. We even saw a whale fan and part of its body out of the water. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour, and it has been one of the highlights of our trip. We would highly recommend this tour company.

Don’t buy a Ship excursion when these Guys are doing a great job and are dependent locals - I can not fault this trip at all. We were met literally at the bottom of our cruise ship gang way, coach was air condition. The boat ride itself on the Bertioni 11 was amazing the captain went out of his way turning boat round where he could so both sides got a great view, also spotting a whale blow hole racing off course so that we got a view of a whale! Once back there was time for a wonder before returning. We were ready to leave bit early so Jose escorted us the short walk to where the cruise ship shuttle bus. The whole trip definitely one of the highlights of our holiday and can not recommend highly enough.

Great tour, needs better meeting coordination - Awesome boat ride to beautiful Ballestas islands, saw plenty of penguins, sea lions, some dolphins, pelicans and a lot of cormorants. Unfortunately, the pick up wasn’t well organized. Nobody met us at the port gates, we had to find transportation to a meeting point ourselves and pay for it separately. Once we got there, we couldn’t find the company as there were plenty of other tour operators. After finally finding our tour - everything was fine.
