- The Lake Phuket Elephant Nursery Ethical Sanctuary - 11.30 am. Start your day with a pickup from your accommodation in a luxury, air-conditioned van. From there, take a scenic drive through beautiful scenery to the sanctuary located in the jungle. Meet your guide and learn a little more about the elephants before gathering up some bananas and cane sugar.
1.30pm. Follow your guide through the forest and watch the elephants resting up in the hills, and discover the free-roaming elephants in a safe, sustainable and ethical environment. Your guide will tell you about each elephant’s individual stories.
Walk with the elephants down from the hill. You will learn about their lifestyle and behaviors.
3 pm.Watching the wildlife animals play in the mud and bathe in the ponds by themselves and you will learn from our experienced tour guide with our elephants.
Finally, enjoy a delicious set menu lunch and a dish from the Thai Cooking Class together with seasonal fresh fruits before heading back to your hotel.

Small group elephant tour - Really enjoyed the day! You get up close and personal with the elephants and get to learn their stories. The little cooking class was a great addition and the buffet lunch was delicious! Thank you to the team for a nice day!

Ultimate elephant experience - The staff and elephants were courteous and polite. This experience was one for the books, another check off on hubby’s and I bucket list. Mayya, the instructor, was so knowledgeable, helpful, respectful, and friendly. She made sure everyone was taken care of on our afternoon tour 04-24-2025. I definitely recommend this excursion on your itinerary. She gave us a lot of history and background on the elephants. We had different activities, including making homemade papaya salad. The additional food that was prepared by the chef was spectacular. The bathrooms were clean and had accommodating washrooms after the elephant bath. I write this place a 20 out of 10. I would definitely come back again. If you ever visit, make sure to leave a donation for the elephants and tip the staff in the tip box because it is well worth it.

A memorable experience. - Really nice to have this incredible experience as a small group. We got to have so much time with the elephants, feeding, walking and hanging out with and the highlight being in the water and washing the elephants. Our tour guide was amazing the knowledge and passion he has for the elephants was great to see. Lunch was one of the best meals I’ve had in Thailand.

Highly recommend! - Incredible experience! Up close with elephants, we fed them, petted them and bathed them. We appreciate how well they are treated and cared for. Professional and knowledgeable staff, we felt safe. We also enjoyed our cooking lesson. The green papaya salad was fun to make and delicious!

Very fun! Worth the trip - This was a great experience! We didn’t want to go anywhere where the animals were being abused or overworked, and this was exactly the right place. They rescue elephants from animal shows and logging camps all over Thailand, and bring them to the sanctuary to care for them. There was even a very fun cooking class before we got to feed the elephant.

An elephant tour focused on the elephants - I chose this tour because it seemed to focus on the wellbeing of the elephants as well as the “touristy” aspects… it definitely did. Dang was an excellent guide and the entire team were very professional. The weather was very hot so the water was very welcome.

Fantastic day out - Absolutely fantastic day out. MR Whu and his team were first class
So lovely to see the beautiful creatures rescued and being cared for with real affection
Go to be really close with them feed them and even bath them
Unlike anywhere I've been before, professional photos were free to upload

Fabulous trip - Absolutely amazing ! Elephants are so well taken care of. Loved it. The guide was so informative and very passionate about his love and care of these amazing animals. My daughter who is 12 said it was the best day.

Elephants rule - The whole experience is amazing and unforgettable. But simply touching these amazing creature's and looking them in their eyes , is unforgettable. The staff was amazing. The friendliness. The food, everything was perfect . Yu our guide was the best. Thank you Yu. Thank you everyone from the pictures to the handlers and of course the amazing elephants. I will come back with my family

Nice tour - Overall it was a good tour and as expected. I thought it was a bit odd to have food right away rather than the end. And they didn't mention to bring swimwear but you get to swim with elephants. So communicating these things better would have helped. But it was otherwise a good tour.
