Highlights
  • Pepper Farm Phu Quoc Bungalow - Then we cruise to visit the Countryside farm (pepper and tropical plants that we used in cuisine, pharmacy). This is the unique organic farm in PhuQuoc and we have very special pepper tree: Long Pepper and we make pepper tea from it.
Then we try some of products from pepper, like pepper tea, salt, chili salt, sauce with green mango. So yummy
  • Starfish Beach - Culture finds a home in the idylilic coastal village where the sand is white as the clouds, starfish roam free and where numerous seafood restauarants try to maintain their balance on the wooden stits out at sea. Rach Vem is one of the Phu Quoc’s natural wonders - a place where culture, nature and ecotourism come toghether
  • Rạch Vẹm - Here you will have a sightseeing of local fisherman lifestyle and try some seafood on their floating restaurant. This place for local only, not for the tourist. But with VietJeep Phu Quoc, you will travel like a local.
  • Phu Quoc National Park - The Phu Quoc Natinal Park is one of the Phu Quoc’s natural wonders and an area of very rich forest and marine resource which play an important role in the livelihoods of the local people. Nation park was established in 2001 and once covered over 50% of Phu Quoc island. Visitors can experience the Nation Park by participating in eco-tourism activities and tour.
  • Dinh Nguyễn Trung Trá»±c Pagoda - The Nguyen Trung Truc temple in Phu Quoc is dedicated to local hero Nguyen Trung Truc who fought the French in the 1800’s. Specifically, he is well known for burning the French battleship “L’Espérance”. Eventually he was caught and executed but the local people have not forgotten him and hence they built this temple.

Definitely worth it - We had a great time on this private tour. Dzung was a friendly and chatty guide and we appreciated the effort he made to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. The Jeep was a really fun (and surprisingly comfortable) way to see parts of the island we wouldn't have otherwise got to and there was plenty of food and drink provided, including a substantial lunch at the fishing village. Be sure to bring swimmers or a change of clothes for Starfish Beach as it's best to wade into the water to see them in a more natural habitat.

Most exciting day trip in Vietnam? - Dzung picked us up at our hotel at 9 o’clock in a vintage US Army jeep, stocked with beer, sodas and water… it was a phenomenal day that included paddling on a river to see a temple, visiting pristine beach with soft white sand, and a lunch at a local, floating, fish restaurant with DELICIOUS food. Dzung was also quite flexible. I asked Dzung where I could find Hoi An lanterns that I wanted to bring back. He immediately called a friend who owned a shop and sold them. She even opened up early for us so I could get them. The last stop was at a mountain/rooftop restaurant with a view over a city in the north for a Vietnamese coffee. This is a day we will never forget.

A Jeep Trip To Remember - Seeing the North of the island in areas only a jeep could reach and we all really enjoyed the pepper farm visit and lunch was delicious. Our driver Dzung was very knowledgeable and pointed things out along the route with good English and the other driver Hau was equally friendly. A enjoyable day although I would recommend taking trainers for the walk through the jungle.

Great day on Phu Quoc! - Our guide was great! We unfortunately had 2 boat loads of people on the same tour behind us blaring music at the beach and the restaurant but not the fault of our guide. He made sure we sat away from them as best we could. The food was phenomenal and they couldn't feed us enough! The drive through the National Park was the perfect ending to the day. Don't hesitate to book this tour. Half the price and double the value of the others, imo!

A unique way to see Phu Quoc in an open army jeep - The best part of the tour was Imi, our tour guide was most helpful and shared many stories on our private tour. Tour highlight was Starfish Beach - we took the boat over to this beach where we relaxed by the beautiful blue water for a couple of hours. This tour not recommended for those with back problems, note there are no seat belts.
