GOOD TOUR WORTH CHECKING OUT - Good tour. Joseph Spurlock, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. It is a fairly new tour and I believe will get better and better over time but is definitely worth taking.

Take the tour.. - Ted Sisco was our guide and was riveting from start to finish, no small feat for an almost 3 hour tour. Stories were informative and entertaining, and most importantly accurate. Narrative about JJ Holmes was just as I've read. Tour and tour guide highly recommended.

Great Historical True Crime Tour! - It was a great tour! Very informative and entertaining. I especially liked how Joseph made sure to give us a lot of historical context for each piece of crime. The next time I visit Philadelphia, I will definitely book another tour with Grim Philly.

Excellent Tour! - Excellent experience! We used Go City passes and they were a little tricky to understand, but the staff was amazing and helped us figure it out quickly and easily! Our tour was fantastic and our tour guide, Joseph, was both extremely knowledgeable and fun to interact with! Definitely a fun way to spend a few hours and a great way to experience some of the classic sights of Philly with a fun, novel twist!

There is more to Philly than there appears to be - Ted was fantastic it was easy to see how much he loved the subject of serial killers and history- his excitement was infectious and despite the rain, I felt as though it ended too soon. If you love to walk, talk, learn about history, stand on top of so many so many buried people- take this tour. Be sure to ask for Ted.

Avoid at all costs - This was not as advertised. It was a very dull and prosaic tour which obsessed about a few places and only had the bare minimum of crime. For example, the guide spent over 30 minutes at the Quaker Friends House, as our first stop, going on and on about witches in excruciatingly dull detail. We then had 20 mins at the site of Benjamin Franklin’s home including a 10 min break (not wanted nor needed). I have done many walking tours and this was the dullest one that I have ever done. My wife and I were both appalled and we concluded that the only true crime was that we had been charged for this boring mess of a tour. To add final insult to injury, the advertised complimentary drink was not offered.
