Great day out for the whole family. - Was in Paphos with my wife and two young daughters, and decided as a treat to take them out on a Pirate Ship Cruise for the day. Out of my two kids (aged 10 and 6) it was certainly more aided at my youngest age group, but by the two it got going my eldest was enjoying herself, and it was brilliant fun for the whole family. Plenty for them to do, with games, face painting and entertainment from Captain Jack Pigeon, so its a great day out for the family. The ship sails you out to a bay at the end of Paphos run way, and this is maybe my only criticism that you do get the smell of jet fumes from the planes taking off, but its enjoyable to swim. You also get to go on the fastest extreme speed boat on that side of the island, and my eldest loved it when me and her went on it. A really enjoyable lunch is also put on. So all in all a real must for families to do when in Paphos.

A fun-filled family-friendly jaunt on the high seas! - I wanted to leave a review because we had some worries before attending our cruise and wanted to answer them incase anyone else also had these fears. First mention needs to go to Pirate Pete and Pirate Polly. How they kept the energy levels so high, god only knows. Upon boarding the ship, we were given a lovely fruit juice as a welcome drink, but they have a comprehensive bar on board. I'd suggest any UK travellers use their card or contactless, because it comes off as pounds instead of Euros. (A 500ml can of Kopparberg and a bottle of Corona cost me £6-odds, very reasonable!) Also had crisps available as a snack if you can't wait for lunch. We travelled along the harbour a while then the entertainment started. Pete and Polly worked hard to entertain the kids with a treasure hunt, games, dancing and other Pirate-related fun, all the while making adult puns and jokes that had me genuinely cracking up. Then came swimming in the sea. As an adult who has an (understandably) big fear of open bodies of water, my son unfortunately doesn't share that fear, so he was going in without consideration of my feelings at all! Thankfully, they offer both adult and child lifejackets. So in we went. Granted, he only lasted about 18 seconds (being in the brisk salty sea isn't for everyone!) But I'm glad we did it to say we had done it :) Lunch was really good - a great selection of foods that cater for both vegetarian and non. (Sorry I didn't notice if anything was vegan, but I'm sure they'd be quick to inform you if this wasn't the case). We even had seconds, such was the amount of food put out! There was bread (with Lurpak butter, result!!!) fresh salad, chicken nuggets (kids got first choice with these and adults were able to take after), a lovely tomato pasta, marinated chicken thigh/drumsticks and potato wedges. We had seconds and were stuffed at the end of it. The entertainment continued with a magician who was honestly very very good, a kids (and adults) limbo challenge and some more music and dancing before we started our return journey. All in all, it was a 4-hour trip that went in so fast. We all had a thoroughly great day and it was well worth the price. All the staff went above and beyond. A brilliant trip. If you do go, please please don't make the mistake we made and not take cash to tip. All the staff on board really deserved it and we were so upset that we hadn't even considered taking cash!

Absolutely brilliant - I really wanted to write a review after seeing some Negative reviews before I went on the cruise . This cruise was BRILLIANT. Worth every penny . Me , my husband and our 11 , 10 and 7 year old went on this cruise today and we were so impressed. The two hosts were amazing . If anyones reading this , please give them a pay rise ! It was funny , entertaining and interactive . We had a welcome drink which was lovely . The kids played a game with the hosts which was very funny . Lots of jokes for the adults too . Then we cruised along the most beautiful sea until we stopped and had the opportunity to swim . There was even a plank to jump off . During the cruise there was an opportunity to go on a large speed boat . It broke up the cruise nicely and the kids loved it . I was worried for my younger kids having to miss out the swimming due to not being the strongest of swimmers but there were life jackets ! The people Working on the boat we’re super helpful and made sure the kids were secure in their life jackets correctly so thank you for that ! After that lunch was served . As a vegetarian I was a little bit worried there wouldn’t be many options but there was plenty . I had a nice big lunch which was delicious . Much more than I expected to have , and there was options for second helpings after . More games were played which involved the adults and the kids . Some how the hosts managed to keep up their energy levels and were excellent through out. Everyone then got some fresh fruit which was lovely and the bar had a happy hour . Overall , entertainment 5/5 , food 5/5 , location 5/5 , friendliness of all the staff 5/5. This so far has been my favourite part of our holiday. RIP Donatello - if you know , you know 🐢

Fabulous fun for little kids and big kids alike! - A fantastic family trip well worth every doubloon! A rousing start with the sails hoisted as we set off from the harbour, Captain Jack Pigeon and his First Mate kept everyone entertained with games, songs, dancing and the odd tongue-in-cheek comment. Buffet lunch was tasty and plentiful. Those who dared had great fun walking the plank, and the chance to swim alongside the boat was great fun. Just be sure to take along a few extra pieces of eight if you fancy a trip on the fastest speedboat in the pirate seas or take home some on board photos as a great way to remember a pirate experience of a lifetime.

Worth the pieces of eight we paid - Was a bit sceptical when we first joined the pirate crew as not many places to sit but that soon changed when we got away. The entertainment staff being a certain Jack pigeon and his helper were great with the kids and very funny throughout the voyage ! They played numerous games when the boat anchored and on our way back. They did everything but face painting but possibly this was due to covid. The food was good and lots of it. When you stop there is another boat that pulls on side to take you out for a few euros. We didn’t bother but looked good as was more interested in walking the plank and swimming. This boat never came near the swimmers it was perfectly safe just remember you are in the sea and boats can creat waves. Use your common sense! This is a must boat trip when visiting paphos for all the family!!
